  1. Sweet. I wonder why they don't have a teaser page up for the time being...
  2. I saw Verizon has their preorder page posted today, but are not accepting preorders until the 6th... 6-6-12 sounds fishy to me.
  3. Well, Verizon put up their landing page for GS3 pre-order http://shop.verizonwireless.com/?id=galaxys3 They will be accepting preorders on June 6th. I can't imagine that Sprint will be too far behind that date.
  4. The wife had a iPhone 4 as a loaner phone and I agree, that on screen keyboard is BRUTAL. I think a lot of it is the size of the phone screens and the size the keys can be on the bigger devices. Things like swype and swiftkey are great for improving accuracy and speed.
  5. Possibly. The manufacturers of screen protectors seem to have them ready well before release of the devices. I wouldn't think they would buy 1 each of every phone. The OEMs must have something out there, or FCC... I'm not sure

  7. Not sure how to get it to you in the right scale...
  8. The difference is that "epic" is usually reserved for usage by high school age kids...
  9. A long time ago I got upgraded from a Samsung SPH-A600 to a Samsung VGA1000.
  10. My last invisible shield I had on my HTC Hero had a texture that was slightly rough and uneven. It was similar to orange peel. And it had a bunch of little rainbow looking distortion points. I don't know if it was trapped water or what, it made me stop putting screen protectors on my phones though...
  11. So the wet-apply kind of screen protector? Like invisible shield... How much orange peel texture does it have? I might be willing to buy and try it out.
  12. You are correct, but in 2010 the ITU gave the "pre-4G" network technologies WiMax and LTE permission to be classified as 4G even though they wouldn't officially meet the standards of 4G until they went to WiMax-A and LTE-A. http://www.itu.int/n...es/2010/48.aspx I agree with you though, I feel it is false advertising to be marketing 3G technologies as 4G. Just because it is faster than what we generally consider 3G, doesn't mean it has made the jump to the next generation.
  13. It reminds me of the saying: "don't be a fool, wrap your 4G tool" in Josh's custom screen protector.
  14. What kind of material is it?

    GS3 and 4G LTE

I said it, but all that happened is the dog looked at me, tilted her head slightly and walked away. Is it supposed to give me patience to wait in line longer? Should I repeat it while waiting in line?
  17. I know I'm late to the party, but any additional usage of WiMax is going to cost Sprint money. With Sprint dumping billions into their LTE network, they can save money by enticing upgrade-ready customers to wait to upgrade to a LTE device and use their older device for WiMax until their area is upgraded to LTE instead of paying for a subsidized device that will use both technologies. Or you can look at all the people who gave up 4G WiMax to get an iPhone. It would be similar to someone giving up 4G WiMax for the very latest Android device with the promise that they will be able to access LTE as soon as it is available. Sprint still has the WiMax E4GT for sale which is a good phone, possibly the second or third best phone in Sprint's lineup right now, but buying that will keep one from using LTE until their next upgrade unless they buy a phone off contract.
  18. Way too far away for me. My truck only gets 600 miles on a full tank. Plus, I'm not sure what the engine would do on pure crude...
  19. If I remember correctly, there was a way around it, but it was still a pain. Also the phone would screech at you every 5 minutes or so until you returned the alert.
  20. I should add that Target Field is the new(ish) MN Twins stadium.
