My brother-in-law lives there but uses Verizon. Always remember when you're at a large event to try to switch to CDMA if LTE is unusable. It's usually sailing along at 2-3 mbps since hardly anyone uses it anymore.Anyone live in/near or frequent the Lititz area? We were there yesterday for the 200th anniversary 4th of July celebration at Lititz Springs Park; all day long, both mine and my wife's phone would end up shunted to B41 over 25/26 - which under proper circumstances I'd have preferred, but for whatever reason the B41 carrier there was completely non responsive. Actual signal was fine, but absolutely no throughput at all. If I had a nickel for every time I cycled airplane mode to temporarily connect back to B25/26 yesterday I'd be rich.

Has anyone heard if any other phones were added to the calling plus beta? My S7 and S7 edge both got an update today. I was hoping it was coming in this month's update, but maybe next month.

I was really hoping this included the LTE calling beta, but it does not. Maybe next time.

It's in the beta stages currently, so I don't know if it would or not. That's a good question though. I'm sure someone on here knows the answer.Wouldn't LTE calling require a FCC repass?

Just curious, did calling plus (LTE calling) come with this update?

Turning wifi off while on a wifi call on the S7 and S7 edge results in a dropped call. I'm still hoping the next update will include the calling plus beta.

I'm sure you're correct, I'm just curious why they did the initial testing this way. I would think it would be pretty rare for users to ever leave wifi while connected to wifi calling. It's going to be a small test group to test calling plus.Still in beta. I’m sure the implementation will be more complete by the time iOS 11 officially launches.

Interesting. I wonder why they allow it to transfer to LTE, but not start a call on LTE. I read the same thing on another site earlier. Just not sure why Sprint and Apple chose to do it that way for now.

Any updates from those who are using this? I'm most curious how the service holds up while the user is moving (driving) and hopping from tower to tower, not just sitting in one place while using it.

Definitely an interesting theory. I guess we'll see how it plays out. Amazon is buying up a lot of companies.

I found at least one mini macro in Allentown. Not all are 8t8r.

It would be nice to know a time line for when Sprint will start to roll this out to more popular phones. I would love to try it and see how it works.

Does anyone know why Sprint stopped updating the software version page for the S7? I've also noticed this for other models too. They haven't updated these for a few months now. Below is the link to the page for the S7.

I got the same email today too. I'm in the Shentel market so I'm interested to see if they deploy them here or if I get denied since I'm not in a Sprint owned market.

I'm in ALU territory in the Shentel market. The 5x5 and 10x10 second carriers are the same. Both end in 09, 0A, 0B.Same as far as I can see.
Thoughts on if/how Triband (B41 4th carrier) should be listed?
Edit: This quoted the wrong person. It was supposed to be in reply to Dkoellerwx

QE1 is the May security update. It was small, so I doubt there were any other fixes.

Nice. I hadn't read about that yet. I get in the 30s on upload on 10x10, so I'm sure it could do even better at times. In Orlando, Kissimmee Lake Buena Vista FL area. Someone reported it month ago and, I was just there on vacation and, posted pics of it.

Where does Sprint have 15x15?I agree download is more important. The current uploads don't help their rootmetrics scores and, some people's (small amount) opinion of them. I got a 30 mbp upload on the B25 15x15 in Florida.

It's decent. You may want to consider getting it on ebay and activate it on the unlimited tablet plan so you don't have a 24 month commitment on it. Then you can replace it anytime you want when something nicer comes along. I bought one new for about $100 last October.Just read through all the comments. In your honest opinions, is this a really good tablet? I'd use it more for browsing, watching movies/videos, maybe some gaming. Does this tablet have the smart view/screen mirroring feature on it?
Personally, I'm on the lookout for a new or newish Tab S2 if I can find one for a decent price.

I was going to ask the same question the other day and forgot. I'm wondering the same. My previous phones did not stay connected to cellular when connected to wifi calling.Does the S7 have a different implementation of WiFi calling vs. older devices? I know on my Note 4 my phone radio was off when connected, the S7 still shows network signal.

The Shentel market 10x10 2nd carrier is NOT showing as 10x10 in areas where it's active. 2nd carrier is showing as "normal" 5x5 in SCP. I'm sure it's a work in progress.
I was just in the Philly (or possibly Central PA) market and the 10x10 notation was accurate there. I was near the border between them on I-78 when I noticed it and checked it to be accurate. I just can't remember for sure what market I was in at the time.
