  1. I'm still getting 7 up and 7 down in Fitchburg inside my house. Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk
  2. Head over to XDA Developers for a question like that. The phone has always had Knox, this isn't new. Just updated. I know there's a big debate going on over there about root and Knox. I don't think it matters to root with knox installed as long as you don't activate knox first. I have no desire to root this phone at this time. In the past I have with all my others, but honestly the S4 doesn't require it.....for me. I don't tether anymore, which is all I used it for. Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk
  3. That sounds awful about the LG G2 and perhaps the N5?! Update on Madison towers quick, Verona, Prairie St. Madison, Northside Madison, and perhaps High Point Towers are NOT broadcasting LTE but are broadcasting 800SMR. Those are the only ones I've seen not broadcasting in my travels this weekend. Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk
  4. Okay, if you guys have the 4.3 update and are perhaps in a 1x800 region, could you please take note of the call audio quality on phone calls? I'm hearing that it sounds tinny and pretty bad. I'm going to give it a while before I think its my speaker blown. Not sure why it would do this, but we JUST had our network upgraded to 1x800 everywhere at the same time as the 4.3 update, so I'm curious to see what you guys are experiencing in other areas, with and without 1x800 on 4.3
  5. So I also don't think the West Washington tower is on yet either. It's going to depend highly on where you are in the stadium, I think. The University Ave tower is behind a hill for most of the camp. So I'd think you'd get served by the West Washington tower or the state Street tower (which I'm not sure about its broadcasting status either). All in all, I think a usable signal is worthwhile now. Not the speeds. Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk
  6. Like YouTube videos? I had that issue for a while too yesterday morning, I think it's a server side issue for YouTube. Mine works fine now. Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk
  7. I mapped about 2500 4G points today in Sensorly all around town. Pretty amazing the speeds and consistency of the network already. Got LTE inside the Great Dane Fitchburg last night too. That place was a roaming dead zone. Good to see its performing at the Camp today. Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk
  8. Remember that 90% of users have no idea what version they run. So the servers spread it out to reduce the load and watch for issues. Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk
  9. Yeah I was just downtown and got some LTE but not much. West Washington did not appear to be broadcasting. I'm sure it will be tomorrow. I'm getting pretty good speeds here in Fitchburg Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk
  10. This is such a magical day Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk
  11. Home tree is lit up like a mutha! Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk
  12. Fish Hatchery tower is pumping the LTE. Sensorly should be a lot more purple in Madison now... Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk
  13. I made a little gif of the changes in Madison over at the Sponsor Thread for the towers. I'll continue to do that for our area now after updates now that something actually happened of note here......
  14. No, not always permanently live, but usually once their on, they're on.
  15. And Park Bank building by East Towne went straight to yellow, so I'd say we don't need a white pin on it :-) Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk
  16. Yes! 31 updates for Milwaukee Market, 6 LTE. Welcome to LTE-ville Stoughton, Waunakee and Fitchburg! I bet those pins will keep changing over the next few acceptances!! Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk
  17. Nice to see Waunakee get some mapping off the 113 tower! Seems very strong by Sensorly into town there and then it just shuts off. Any member here map that region? what gives? My in-laws live in the older section off Century Ave, might be out there this weekend so hopefully the tower will still be on.
  18. I already did this joke on like page 2 ;-) sent from my Touchpad CM10 using Tapatalk 4
  19. I caught a little LTE at Nakoma and Midvale, my 800SMR serving tower was Tokay at that point, not sure about LTE. Tried to map it, might show up later. Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk
  20. Well, home tree is now in on the action. I might have to start wearing a tin foil hat. - 51dBm?!?! (indoors) Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk
  21. 1x800 off the tower down on State Street as well. Had LTE for a couple seconds from someplace, but wasn't sure where. Couldn't get into engineering to get the information. Clearly something is happening around here on most towers. The 1x800 has been getting stronger in my office during the day today. Was -92dBm this morning, now is -76dBm. Worked great when I was outdoors sending texts and a test phone call. I believe that is true somewhat. There is much more control at a central location for these new NV towers than in the past. But I don't know the exact procedures.
  22. Finally had to turn my notifications for Singalcheck Off. Bouncing around 1x800 like mad, and the alert was getting a little annoying...... Anyone else seeing this at their Madison place of business? How about the Tokay tower Mangurt? Anyone getting anymore LTE hits? I'll be heading down to State Street in about an hour, so I'll see what's up down there.
  23. Whoops, meant to put ", 3G" next to 1900 LTE. Good catch Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk
  24. I'm guessing it'll show up on the accepted list before they're able to put a white pin on it. let's just wait it out.
