Update: After putting a full days work traveling around my city and the surrounding area and using LTE calling, I'm impressed. No dropped calls, all outgoing calls connected instantly, crystal clear voice, had a few of my Verizon friends ask me if I got a new phone because I sounded much clearer on their end. Can't wait for full blown VoLTE.

My observations so far for LTE calling w/o WiFi, instant connection, clear voice, seemless LTE band switching. So far so good

It is the enhanced messaging (RCS) that is embedded within Samsung's stock messaging app, but can only be used between Samsung devices that have this feature turned on. For some reason the S8 on Sprint was disabled upon release but its nice to see a feature that I was so use to on the S7 return (literally all of my friends and family have either the S7 or S8),

Sprint had a map displaying recent tower upgrades such as voice, capacity, and data speed upgrades during NV as AJ stated, it was found at network.sprint.com back a couple years ago. AT&T use to have a map sort of like Sprint's back during AT&T HSPA+ upgrades but was not as detailed as it only show by market and did not give exact cell site locations. T-Mobile as far as I can recall did not provide any type of map.

I just received a call from the 888 number and said I was approved for a Magic Box based on my location the rep. said they are expecting inventory September and should start going out on the second week.

They way my S8 behaves I would have thought that HPUE was for Band 26...

Tower crews in my area have been deploying 4x MIMO 1900 and NSN Mini Macros aggressively here since the beginning of the year. They usually have the 4X MIMO upgrade complete within two days if the weather permits. I've noticed new 4X MIMO deployments have started to pop up in the Kingsport, TN area as of last week as well. Note, this picture was taken in February 2017 and has only 800/1900 LTE w/ 4X MIMO upgrade but has been touched with B41 as of two months ago.

How about we cross that bridge when we come to it. All these reports should be taken with a grain of salt until its officially announced by Sprint/Softbank or T-Mobile/DT.

Looks like Bixby voice is finally going live, a bunch of updates through the Galaxy apps store are available.
-
Samsung devices not the network gear OEM, I'm in Ericsson market.
-
The latest update is not showing frequency band information for 800, 1900, 2500. I guess this is because it's a Samsung?
-
Noticed it after the beta update, never noticed it before but that's not to say it wasn't doing it.
-
Mike, the status bar LTE signal indicator becomes stale and will not update for some reason when on B25.
-
I haven't paid attention before the beta update but is the ASU measurement broken now on Samsung devices? The reason I am asking is that my S8 is only showing (99 asu).
-
So Sprint Zone is still on my S8 has Sprint Zone auto updated to My Sprint for any of you? I downloaded My Sprint app but Sprint Zone is still there kind of dumb having two apps that do the same thing.
-
Mike, anyway you could take off the band class when the frequency class is enabled in the notification shade?

Mike, anyway you could take off the "MiniMac?" Or just make it optional, not digging the screen clutter.
