So I just got back from Brazil and once again had issues with incoming calls going straight to voicemail. Data, texts and outgoing calls worked well, but had to tweet to marcelo and sprint to get the sprint care people to look into it instead of having me "call the international desk". I had told them I didn't have time to sit there for an hour trouble shooting the issue and that they should just send the info to the desk. 

The international desk called me after looking into it and said there had been some issues with the settings on their part. You'd think by now it would all be working well. 

Does anyone know in what countries you actually get LTE as the option for the open world data?

i was driving ubers all weekend down there and all providers except sprint have a cow setup. If you are on the north side then that is my assumption. I wasn't able to stop the rides till I got back to paseo all day Saturday and Sunday.

Have any of you experienced some dropped calls, or calls that just hang? In other words the phone says you're connected, but you don't hear the person?

I'm wondering if it's balloon fiesta traffic, or if it's tower upgrades or something else...

Best way to order a nano sim without calling international support? Actually, anyone got the international support line? I need a nano Sprint sim (hopefully CSIM) sent to my house soon.

so it seems like the whole website is down. can't activate the phone, and can't even chat with sprint...

if your the guy who needs the phone in the AM and just cant wait for a PM delivery then the store is the way to go, in fact you could probably still get one in a carrier store, if you are not super picky about color or storage.

Nah, by the time I'd get there, the UPS one will be here.... They have to come before 5... it's a business address. 

 

I always feel a little bad for the employees who set these up and have no one show up, not a large enough study to say anything, especially when your consider how popular online ordering is. 

Right about now... I really wish I had gone to a store instead of online ordered... still waiting for UPS.... USPS came like hours ago and I saw them drive off like half an hour after what seemed like the end of their route...

Seemed that way to me too. I pass by Sprint/AT&T/Verizon stores on the way to work and from the drive past they seemed empty and the Verizon store I had lunch by was barren.

Using Tapatalk on BlackBerry Z30

I see there are two maps on their website for their coverage. A CDMA coverage and a GSM coverage. If you have a phone that is capable of both (like an iphone) would you roam on CDMA only or on GSM as well?

Carizozo, NM looks like it is standard roaming.

Sadness... if that's the case not sure where exactly there is any roaming + in NM...

For those of you who are not colorblind... A lot of rural NM is roaming. Could you tell me if you see it as roaming or roaming + ? An example is northern NM and for instance a town called "Carizozo, NM"

Oh and it says "May not be combinable with other offers, including contract buyout. " so that means they won't pay for the remaining lease on a phone on a different carrier if someone switches and chooses this plan?

Yeah I don't want to trade in my 6. I rather pay the $20, trade in a 5c and sell my 6 plus elsewhere. I think I'll come out better in the end.

It was the same thing last year.  I would not worry about it.  They will be here tomorrow.  They just hold them as long as possible because they want to avoid early deliveries.  Don't get hung up on the two day air service, they will be delivered tomorrow.
