With the S23, is there anything to be unlocked with n71 like aggregation that isn't already unlocked? I noticed my tablet (S7 FE 5G) shows some 3CA when my phone is showing the n71 UC so I'm not sure if the S23 is getting all it can.
S23 has all CA combinations available. If it is showing n71 and UC in the corner, that means you have n71 + n41 active at minimum. Checking the engineering screen will confirm that.

Visiting Kansas City for a couple of days. First time since SA 5G has become widespread and easier to access since I upgraded to my S23 Ultra. n25 is online widely across at least the Kansas side of town, I expect it should be in Missouri too since the spectrum holdings are the same. T-Mobile has a ton of spectrum on air now.
LTE:
5 Mhz B71
5 Mhz B12
15+5 Mhz B66
15 Mhz B2
20+20 Mhz B41 (this may have changed, I haven't actually see a B41 connection in a while).5G:
100+40 Mhz n41
20 Mhz n25
10 Mhz n71While on 5G, I see 100 n41 + 40 n41 + 20 n25. Pulled the fastest speed I've seen on T-Mobile yet. In the middle of the afternoon no less.

After nearly a month T-Mobile seems to be finally expanding n25 beyond the initial 5 sites they were using. However, it seems to be quite the mess. The three sites near me are all using different size channels. I'm getting a 5Mhz channel that's only using the G Block, a 15Mhz channel that's using the C Block, and a 20Mhz channel that's using C+G, each from a different site all next to each other. Very confusing.

I just noticed that the tower serving my home is now labeled "Sprint Keep" as seen in this SCP screenshot. Maybe this is Mike's terminology?

Yeah it's been referred to in a number of places as the "Sprint Keep" or "Sprint Retain" PLMN.

Implies T-Mobile n41 winnings in mostly rural areas are delayed until the Fall/Winter: https://www.lightreading.com/5g-and-beyond/t-mobiles-latest-5g-spectrum-purchases-stuck-in-limbo/d/d-id/783923?
That's disappointing. Hopefully sooner than later.

Wow, T-Mobile is serious about the Nebraska expansion! Viaero has got to feel the start of roaming revenues declining at this point.
Still get rather forcibly pushed to Viaero at various points along I-80 and then it is very difficult to get back on T-Mobile, but yes the roaming area is shrinking fast!

Coverage map update brought a lot more news in terms of filling up the Nebraska gap. 20 new sites and 2 conversions!
That brings us to 90 expansion sites so far, and 122 conversions that are on air, with more we know of that are installed but not yet online.

Now that my S22 can do n25 SA, I can 100% confirm that the top 10x10 of band 25 is deployed as NR here now. Have CellMappter turned on so maybe I'll be able to paint the map a bit today as I'm bouncing between downtown and further north.
Have it online here in Omaha, but it's only on 5 super random sites. And they're really blasting it, picking up it really far from the sites that have it active. Plus one has a totally different channel vs the others. Very confusing. 4 of the 5 have a C Block carrier at 15x15. One of the sites is a G Block carrier at 5x5. They could easily combine that to 20x20, so not sure what they are doing.

Got it single-band locked now and might throw CellMapper on to track how many sites have it enabled in Austin. Only 10x10 here (PCS-G and adjacent 5x5) but low enough traffic I guess as I'm getting ~80 down ~22 up, so plenty enough for tethered connectivity.
Nice! Glad they're finally getting it on the S21 and S22. Made the jump to the S23 to get it out of the box haha.

Seeing that as well. Usually n41 + n25 + n71, but can be in pretty much any order. Typically n71 is a SCC, but occasionally see it as the PCC. Doesn't usually last long in that order.

Norris site being one of them!
The Hickman/Norris site will be converted. It's just taken longer for some reason.

Found 2 more expansion sites that are live on I-80 in Nebraska west of North Platte, plus 3 more Sprint conversions, though they are not live yet. Still a few spots where signal drops to roaming for a while, but they are getting really close to having that huge Nebraska gap filled in! All the details are in the Nebraska members thread.
2 of those Sprint conversions were live on Saturday. That leaves only one left and T-Mobile will have converted all of the former Sprint sites west of Lincoln on I-80 in Nebraska. They've brought online 9 expansion sites west of the former Sprint footprint, only a couple gaps left in coverage until I-80 is fully covered. 70 expansion sites in total now online across Nebraska.

If anyone happens to be doing any Alabama sites, will you guys share a link with me? I have tried to find any sort of map related to Bama but I don't think anyone is tracking around me.
Your best bet might just be Cellmapper or the SCP mapping site. See what other people have mapped around you, see what's new. Can't guarantee it's totally accurate since it is all crowd sourced, but if anyone is actually paying attention and setting sites correctly it could be helpful.

which IMEI did you guys use to activate the device / get ESIM? When i used IMEI1 on the box, the website took it but nothing happened with the device. When i then tried IMEI2, everything went through. when i type in *#0011# on the dialer, SIM2 INFORMATION is available, SIM state is not Ready is shown for 1, is this the case for you guys as well?
I transferred my SIM over from my S21 and it activated. That was the end of it for me 🤷🏻♂️

They finally brought n25 online in Omaha. For some reason we have two channels, one 5 and one 15Mhz. Best I can tell C and G blocks right next to each other, so I'm not sure why it's not one 20Mhz channel. But still, finally live!

How's everyone enjoying their S23's? I love mine so far. Liking the battery life so far.
Since it stopped rebooting every hour or so I'm enjoying it more! Screen is great, so is the battery life. Feels much bigger than the S21 Ultra even though it's really not. I think it's the square instead of rounded edges. Still not sure what to do with the pen though. Headed to Colorado for some skiing and hopefully some good pictures this weekend!

It's crashing with a null pointer exception when checking the username set for web uploads, which is very bizarre, because 1) this code has been part of the startup routine for a long time, 2) it is coded to appropriately protect against null issues, and 3) the app has never crashed at that point on any device except for the S23.
In any case, I've added some additional protections for the next update that will hopefully resolve this. Pushing it out shortly.
I cleared data and un-re-installed the app and it stopped crashing. Weird but thankful it's working again!

Does it still reboot when in safe mode?
Power on your device in Safe mode:- Power off your device.
- Power on your device.
- When the Samsung logo appears by itself, press and hold the Volume down key.
- The device will switch on in Safe mode. "Safe mode" will be displayed on the bottom left of the screen.

Since I uninstalled SCP ... nothing has happened. Not liking that coincidence.

My phone has been rebooting randomly all day. I'm on my 10th or 12th restart now. It's doing it all on its own, not seeing any crash messages or anything like that. Is it trying to install something or do I have a bad device? Very confused as to what is happening.

A new SCP beta update is rolling out now! This release implements a new upload handler on the map server (should not be any notable changes to users), several bug fixes, and overall stability improvements -- including what I hope will fix your issue @Rickie546 -- please let me know. Optimistically inching closer to a stable release..
App will not open on S23 Ultra. App icon acts like it's launching then it's just gone. Not sure what to do, if there's anyway I can help let me know.

Ordered day 1`from Best Buy but can't pick up til tomorrow. Setting my alarm haha
Only took over two hours at the store but finally got the phone. Their system wouldn't accept the trade in and kept trying to cancel the order. Ended up cancelling and processing the phone and trade in separately and then thankfully matched the pre-order deal. Activation was as simple as it's ever been, just popped in the sim and it transferred over.
Still getting used to the sharp corners, and I have no idea what to do with the pen, but otherwise first impressions are pretty good! Nice to see SA n25, though it's still not available here.

Heard from a friend it was shut down in Harrisburg, PA. N71 got widened to 20mhz there.
Interesting. We have 15Mhz of n71 here. 20Mhz of B25 sitting quiet, I assume waiting for n25 to fire up. Taking B71 off air would give us 20+20+80 (n71+25+41) which ought to be pretty impressive.

They are aggressively co-locating on towers all across the country. Since most cell companies no longer own the towers, it's pretty easy to jump on with another carrier.
