Thanks for your info. I have heard others complain about switching back and forth between between LTE and WiMax devices. I wonder if it is an account type issue?

I switched from my EVO 3D to my new EVO LTE yesterday, and it did involve a call to Sprint, from Best Buy. They couldn't activate it because of the hotspot feature that I use. The WiMAX plan wasn't compatible with the LTE plan for hotspot use. Apparently they changed the pricing structure for hotspot use on LTE devices. That was the first I'd heard of that, so I cancelled my hotspot. So that may be part of the problem. The guy at Best Buy said they had also seen issues converting WiMAX plans over to LTE even without the hotspot issue, so maybe hit and miss?

Also, the EVO 3D is incapable of connecting to eHRPD. Only LTE devices support it.

Robert, thanks for that. I've been running over these forums like crazy for the past few days, and hadn't come across that information, so I wasn't sure.

I'm in Kansas City near the cross section of K-10 and K-7 and have been getting LTE for about a week and a half. Do the GPS coordinates on this screen shot help identify the tower?
This is very cool, I live right in that area. Very excited to get my EVO LTE next week. I'll report what I see when I get it, assuming I get it before the official launch.

Can any other KC area members confirm that eHRPD is down today Monday 6/04? Only NID 00041 (KC-LENEXA-MSC_1) and NID 00042 (KC-LENEXA-MSC_2) seem to be affected. eHRPD is restored upon crossing back over to NID 00043 (KC-INDEPENDENCE-MSC_1).

New here, from Lenexa, I've never checked before, but I do not see any eHRPD, only EvdoA. Although I have an EVO 3D at the moment, waiting on my EVO LTE. I do not know if that would make a difference?
Edit: I just realized this is from a month ago, so maybe not relavent any more.
Guess what time the switch will be thrown to LTE

I saw someone elsewhere say they have a 4G signal on their LTE already today in downtown KC. Is there a possibility that's right? I work just west of downtown and am still on 3G, not that I expected to see anything until at least Friday
