  1. Man, if Sprint gets this, I may be on board, depending on the SIII. My wife just got my the 5" Samsung Galaxy player, which is basically the same size as the Note, and I am lovin this 5" form factor.
  2. Yeah, specs close, minus the Super IPS+, and a slightly lower clock speed. The memory has been conflicting from what I've read. ASUS site states its loaded with 16GB, but most reports are saying 32GB. But they've kept the same alum body as the prime.
  3. Very nice TS! Thanks for all the info. Shoulda asked for a demo unit for S4GRU!

    HTC EVO 4G LTE

I like this phone, watched a few videos on it. But I have to wait unti August to upgrade anyways. So by then I'll have a little more options. Still leaning towards the SIII at this point.
  5. Ditto to that, I think thats where the line should stop for a 7" Tablet, is the 250$ price point.
  6. Crazy, glad you and your family are okay
  7. The Galaxy players are very nice. Come in 5.0,4.0, and a 3.6 variant. The 5.0in one is on sale at bestbuy right now, all with built in 8GB, but have SD slots for expandable memory. My wife and dauther both have the 8GB touches, and they are always having to shift around movies/apps.
  8. Not sure if I am a fan yet, based on all the "leaked" photos. Guess we will all find out a little later. Think they stuck with the SD card-less route?
  9. Yeah, there are a few employees using it already. I think they are slowing moving everyone over to a SDC device
  10. I would love for the premier program to return. I miss the yearly upgrades
  11. We still use the Nextel service quite a bit here. Be interesting to see how the coverage fares after those sites are decommissioned.
  12. Haven't checked mine today, but I'm at work atm and I'm just outside of range. Was working fine around 9-10pm Pacific time last night for me though.
  13. Yeah, I can't wait for this phone. I'm hoping it will be released right around my upgrade date~
  14. I'm posting this while in line~
  15. Be sweet if one of us here at the site got it!
  16. Have you guys gone to the Android Market on your computer lately? https://play.google.com/store Is where I ended up after I clicked my bookmark. "Introducing Google Play"
  17. You guys see that sweepstakes Sprint is holding? http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=unlimited%20sweepstakes%20sprint&source=web&cd=3&ved=0CDsQFjAC&url=http%3A%2F%2Fdatastorm.sprint.com%2Fwdefault.aspx&ei=Km1WT62wFKibiAL4m5DaBw&usg=AFQjCNGlqjUGSutFltL4FGRg-aTO1LkOEQ Enter to win 1 or 30 Galaxy Nexus' Ends April 5th, with winner announced on Aril 16th. Potential release date sometime around there?
  18. Wow, if that turns out to be true, I may just have to pick one up. If the specs are similar to the 370T, minus the storage, do you think ASUS will rethink that product? Because a 200$ "Nexus Tablet" would def take away some of the potential buyers in that area, I know I would be one. And if a 10" tablet with a 300$ price point and similar specs, I'd be all over it.
  19. Yeah I unlocked. The day after I did, ASUS decided to release the .15 update. Thankfully the Virtuous team had already released a ROM that was pretty much stock, and they quickly released an updated version. So thats what I'm running now. Stock look, but its deodexed, zip aligned, and it has the 1.6ghz oc built into the performance mode. But once you unlock your serial gets sent over to ASUS and your taken off the update list. So you don't even get the option to update even if you try to manually check it in the settings.
  20. I'd def try waiting another month or two. By then you'd def have a better idea of whats releasing in the very near future from that point.
  21. You wouldn't hear me complaining about it if they were to tap ASUS on the shoulder for this, as I am also a happy customer of theirs. With April fast approching I'm wondering when or if we will see more details as to the hardware leaked.
  22. lol, I think most of use have been guilty of this. I was about 3 weeks ago or so, when I found out Sprint was changing the way they were billing. But after I got to looking at their plans, my jaw dropped. Just wasn't sensible for someone with 3 lines, all requiring data.
  23. I think you'll be fine. You could always root if your still on .14 and then get the VooDoo OTA root keeper. But I've read that numerous people have had successful roots with ViperMod 4.5. Also I would advise against unlocking, because once you do that you no longer receive the OTAs from ASUS, and would have to rely on stock roms from devs with the updated firmware built in
  24. Same here. I'd have to wait till August though.
  25. I'm on .15, have had no problems with it. Not sure if any issues were fixed, as I didn't seem to notice if I'd had any. Still a solid product overall.
