To play devil's advocate, if he's reviewing a device for consumers and has poor coverage in his area then he's doing his part as a consumer advocate to stay away from what he perceives as a spotty network. It will be old news for current Sprint customers, and it serves as a warning to not switch to Sprint just for the Note 3. I probably wouldn't recommend Sprint to most people in my area because the promise of a great network in the future isn't enough to stake my reputation on. For me, it's fun to watch the rollout, even if LTE is sub-3G speed in my neighborhood.

Yar. My only concern would be if the antenna was partially embedded in the battery cover with a connector to the inside of the phone. Didn't the Palm Pre do something like that? Sent from my HTCONE using Tapatalk 4

Someone needs to make a 3rd party battery cover replacement made out of real leather with real stitching, as long as it doesn't affect the reception.

Coverage is pretty bad in between Saginaw and Haslett off of Bond's Ranch. We're supposed to be covered, but it looks like the tower near Blue Mound Rd. and Haslett County Line Rd. may be having trouble. I've been trying to open a ticket with Sprint, and I might have finally been successful. Edit: Sorry about the huge screen shot. I uploaded from Tapatalk and couldn't figure out how to make it smaller. -
That would be fun. I'll get out and get some information where I can, but I have 5 kids so usually my time after work is pretty well nonexistent. Also, I believe the towers have some overlap. How can I be sure I'm actually connected to the tower I think I am?

It might, however, make WiFi calling a possibility due to the full-data nature of VoLTE. Transition back and forth between WiFi and LTE for your voice calls seamlessly? Maybe it's just a dream, but it's a nice-sounding one. -

Just a thought, but would it be feasible for your FTTH customers to have small sites installed at their residences for a discount to service in order to help propagate your service in more densely-populated areas?

I thought the LG customizations were particularly atrocious myself. I was seriously considering dumping my HTC One for this when it hits, but unless the bootloader is easily unlocked and CyanogenMod is working well on it, I'll be passing.
