I got to the post office on college before the signal cut out but I think someone with a GSIII got to Peoria before it cut out. The thresholds on the EVO need to be seriously adjusted. It drops the 4G connection way too soon.

I took college drive to Blanding Boulevard. I stay connected to Ltd until I reach Peoria drive also. Maybe next time I'm in the area I will continue on 220 until I get to 17. It looks like your mapping turns out to be pretty accurate.

I went to the doctors inlet site and did a couple speed test and got a pic of the tower. I don't know how good the pic is going to show being that I took it with my EVO LTE

Yeah, and I'm know I'm connected to the site. I do have the 56006 prl manually installed but I've connected to LTE before with it installed when I was in Dallas on business.

Maybe you should try 25009 and see if it'll work

Yeah, I've been a techno nerd for like 16yrs now and I'm only 26. Robert is the site you are talking about on county road 220 and college road? That's about the only sprint site I remember seeing between Middleburg and Fleming Island.

Maybe someone cab check out the new 4G site over by Doctors Inlet. I haven't been in that area since 1994!

None of the sites that I've identified are not active. They aren't even blocking connections or sending out enhanced 3g signals but I went back by the Busch Dr tower because I was at the sams club cycled airplane mode and still nothing. Maybe they are waiting to turn on all the completed sites all at once and not one by one like some of the other markets.

I spotted another tower that I suspect to have nv upgrades on i295 near the Lem turner Walmart just as you pass the dunn ave exit.

Well, I left for a total of 2 days and came back after the carrier I went to wouldn't penetrate the buildings where I needed my phone to work. After reading the forums and seeing exactly what sprint is planning to do I'm not going anywhere because sprint has big plans for the future and for the price you can't beat it.

Just something to do while we wait on a few sites to come online. Jacksonville is a hard city to cover but the coverage is going to be great once CDMA800 comes online.

lolol, I've heard EVO LTE connectivity issues, which is why I pointed that out.

 

P.S. I also went to CDMA only mode, and back to CDMA/LTE and still no 4G signal. Just to clarify.

That's the same thing that happens to me when I visit the tower off of I95 and Busch drive. Except my phone doesn't go to 1x. I have an EVO LTE I thought it was my phone at one point.

Maybe Robert can chime in on this but if these sites are compete. Why aren't we getting enhanced 3G or atleast a hit on our LTE records. I have an EVO 4G LTE so I know to cycle airplane mode and still ended up with nothing.

I went by the site that was getting worked on last week here's some pics and I speedtest that I did when I was there. I cycled airplane mode on my EVO 4g LTE and didn't even get a hit on my LTE record.

That's very good news I never liked the fact that wasn't taking full advantage of clear wires spectrum holdings to be more competitive against the big two. I see since the Softbank investment maybe sprint has the capital to do all the things that they wanted to do all along

What's the chances of clearwire cutting back their rollout to integrate their td LTE rollout with network vision after the Softbank investment?

I drove past a couple towers on 295 heading toward I10. 1 tower I know for sure is a network vision tower the other 3 im not sure about.
