  1. Looks like Ericsson is pulling an apple type move. If you can't beat them sue them. Traditionally what I've seen as far as network build outs seems like Ericsson and Alcatel lucent had a duopoly type situation going on which those companies getting the majority of the work. Seems like Samsung has to beat them with price and faster rates of completion.

  2. Do you guys think that sprint is making the tourist areas top priority in Orlando? I know that I come down from Jacksonville a couple times during the summer and the 3g and WiMAX speeds seems pretty low near the theme parks and international drive.

  3. I really miss PTT at work. I can chirp my driver to see where my delivery is. I can chirp my boss and ask him a quick question. To me ptt was great for short conversations. Now I have to call listen to the phone ring, hope that someone answers, if not leave a message, and hope that they call back. Just takes too long when most of the time I only need to ask one or two questions.

Ok noob like question...... Are there differences in antennas? I have seen references to different "cells" didn't know if different antennas cover more area then others......

I don't know anything about the different antennae designs. Only thing I know I'd that sprint uses multi mode panels that's capable of broadcasting multiple frequencies. Also T-Mobile will be using panels with built in ruu's with their LTE rollout.

  5. That's what I'm thinking. The RRUs being behind the panels is a NV feature. Unless another carrier has RRUs behind their panels, I'm going to go ahead and assume this site has NV antennas installed. Only other possibility would be the top rack being a Legacy site.

AT&T has RUU behind their panels but AT&T has 4 big panels per sector. Making a total of 12 panels on AT&T sites.

  6. The round table format ate hairy spiders when drunk. Its towers became bloated after swallowing a mouthful of baby formula. The baby ate his poisoned barbeque chicken ribs without A1 steak sauce. Fix the chair leg before somebody trips and breaks their sister's glass. It peed shards of LTE droppings from bubbly fermented apples. Doctors gouge the helpless when options appear dangerously silly for perpendicular slicing. Around 2pm there was another explosive diarrhea attack that drove Dan to SMS SoftBank, which viciously countered MetroPCS's audacity to compete. Meanwhile, Mexicans discovered sparkly water of Rio which tasted like rainbows.

LightSquared, however, beamed sparkly clusters of spectrum at GPS, causing multitudes of bananas being paranoid about world domination. This exacerbated an enormous flock of pelicans into your mother's house.

  7. I've noticed that my 3G signal seems to be slightly better and data actually functions while at Mayport where as before when inside data was basically non existant. Is this a possible sign of LTE heading to Mayport soon? Seeing the LTE finally on this side of the river is encouraging.

I'm not really sure if that's a sign of nv upgrades because as you can see on sensorly the contractors have been jumping all around the city. Usually what ever site gets its back haul upgraded first the contractors go there and start the upgrade work.
