  1. I will probably go across the buckman tomorrow but I doubt my phone will pick up the signal if the site is far away. I went downtown to test out the site that's active there and no dice. I can't even connect to the site out in green cove on cr209 either. If I'm close top the site my phone connects and hold the connection until it drops though.

  2. so is Jax scheduled to have a massive rollout prior to the new year or is everything scheduled for some time next year?

I believe all the markets are scheduled to be completed before the end of 2013. The majority of the major cities will be first. If you noticed all the small towns that sprint markets as complete is because they are a part of the larger markets they are close to. Sprint has 97 markets but they break them down for PR reasons.

  3. Currently I just wonder if they will do a refresh on the EVO like they are doing with the One X+... just a thought, although I still love my EVO LTE, so until they add 800/2500MHz LTE support, I will not be looking for any new handset.

I still love my EVO also. I believe the next EVO will be a DNA type device with the lastest hardware and sprint compatible bands.

  4. Sprints network seems extremely promising, but I wonder how much effect will them leasing there network to other providers would it have on sprints own network on the long term.

I also wondered the same thing and the fact that sprint is extending LTE to the prepaid subs also. Makes me wonder why I'm postpaid if I could go prepaid and get the same service minus the brand new phones and roaming.

  5.

Actually went thru there today also and didn't even think about it... I was running sensorly the first time I went thru and then the following day, the second time I was talking on the phone and registered 19 points.... I actually bit the bullet and got one of these really tiny Galaxy Notes... I got the otter box defender for it... all I can say is its a monster :D

Dang dude I know that phone has to be huge. I actually though about buying one but I have to pay full price because I just bought the EVO LTE in May. The last phone I bought at full price was the EVO 3d that I regret buying. It was a good phone just not with the $500 I paid for it. I'll probably just stick it out with the EVO LTE hopefully HTC hurries and release a fix to the connectivity problems and by the time I'm due for an upgrade in Jan 2014 sprint will be pretty much done with the first part of network Vision and will be pushing LTE 800 really hard.

  6. Tmobile is moving to 100% value plans. They are getting the iPhone because now they do not have to subsidize the device.

In one day tmobile gains my interest, then loses it the in an hour.

Value plans are nice, but I refuse to sign a contract with an ETF when I am bringing my own device.

I think moving to only value plans is a bad idea for t mobile. There's not a lot of people that can afford to purchase phones at full retail. The byod will do pretty good but people want new phones when they join a carrier and not pay full price. I know people that thinks the new customer price/2year upgrade price is the actual price of the phone and complains a about paying $200 for a device.
