  1. Fortunately, they have lifetime warranties on their cases, but I agree. The flap over my head phone port has been tearing as of late. That's why I decided to try out the Ballistic Maxx case to see if it is more durable.

I've done the warranty exchange once with my EVO 3d. Then when I got my EVO LTE the rubberized shell seemed more durable than the last one on my EVO 3D. After a while the same thing happened so I purchased a commuter case it started to wear out too. So now I use Seidio cases.

  2. I bought that same case for my wife's G2. She likes the Commuter that she has had on her 3D. I just don't trust the level of protection compared to the Defender that I have on mine.

I don't like the defenders because the rubber shell starts to gets loose and not fit around the hard piece all the way. Also the parts that cover the ports start to tear up also.

  3. I believe when Sprint is done with their build. They won't be the fastest but they will have the best overall experience while being unlimited. Unlike the big two that has tiered data in place and still getting bogged down.

I've convinced my fiancée and my relatives that sprint will be a lot better in the future. Also people that I know with sprint are noticing the service is getting better and they are getting LTE everywhere they go around town. One of my friends went and switch to the my way plan because he said he's going to be with sprint for life and he wants unlimited.

Now that tri band phones are about to be released us sprint customers can show others what they are missing out on.

  4. The phone as the One is awesome, as the MAX, a flop. S600 should be a S800, should have a stylus, should be tri-band. I think HTC just finalized their doom. Hopefully there is a market for a phablet without a stylus.

I don't think the phone is going to be a flop. The s600 won't be the down fall either. HTC should have included s pen type features that's what is going to make people choose a different device.

The lack of tri band is what's keeping me from purchasing this device.

  5. Today I'm at work and I'm trying to make a phone call and the call would not go through at all. My phone showed bars but when I placed a call it did nothing. So I'm driving down the road past the sprint site and saw workers adding NV panels. The strange thing is that the workers removed the legacy gear while they were installing the panels. Has anyone here seen this before?

I know usually sprint installs the NV gear then at a later date then remove legacy equipment when the site is 3g accepted.

  6. Tmo is pretty much just software upgrades for LTE where as sprint is completely new hardware and backhaul, pretty much building from the ground up right?

Sprint is replacing everything except the tower itself. All the wiring, all the base station hardware, and the panels. Tmo isn't doing that. Also tmo has fiber back haul in place already which makes things happen faster. Back haul has been one of sprints biggest issues.

  7. Does this help in restoring faith in the triband LTE?

The service manual for the LS980 shows triband LTE support.

I sure hope your right. I'm dying to get off this EVO LTE I'm even considering a note 3 with galaxy gear at this point. But I've seen clear TD work going on with my own eyes so that's the only thing that keeps me from getting the note 3.

  8. Well Sprint and T-Mobile both have the opportunity to take customers away from the big two. The pricing is there Sprint and T-Mobile both needs to expanding their coverage and building penetration. Also they could boost their advertising budget and run more commercials and ads to grasp the attention of potential customers. I see countless commercials from T and VZ boasting about their coverage and network speeds. Some customers automatically assume that because they see the ads on TV all day long that the commercials must be truthful.

  9. As much as people here wants it to happen. I don't think it is good for competition. Tmo and sprint combined will have more customers and spectrum to compete with the big two but the only thing that will end up happening is the new company will price their plans within a couple bucks as the big two then we the consumers lose and the only options we will have other than the new big three would be mvno carriers.

  10. The battery life of the Note 3 is excessive. It's been on for 6 hours with 3 hours screen on time, I'm only down to 71%. Compared to my old Gnex which could only take 3 hours of screen on time before dying lol

Hows the radio on the GN3 is it better than the GN2 or around the same?

  11. Does anyone ever clear their LTE Available File? I have over 700 entries.

No I believe that helps your phone scan for lte when your 1x radio connects to that base station telling your phone to scan for LTE.
