  1. Very tempted! It might be time to put my Nexus 5 out to pasture. The only thing that it is missing for me is WiFi calling...
  2. VZW small cells around here (Baltimore) follow a similar pattern, more suburban areas and inconspicuous but not stealth.
  3. Again, I have to ask. Why does anyone think this looks inconspicuous? Now back to the LA market thread...
  4. I will be back in Baltimore next week. I will need to do some looking around while I am there.
  5. That sounds about right. This is probably the first time that the network in OC has been stressed with all the sites on air. If Sprint is paying attention (and Ericsson isn't lying and saying everything is fine) hopefully they will realize they need to deploy some small cells (and convert the old Nextel site at the south end) in Ocean City. Maybe next year.....
  6. I was able to run up and down US-301 today. I was able to confirm that LTE is now live on at least three of the sites in that cluster. I still need to download my SCP logs to confirm the details (that might be a while).
  7. I found another live site on the Eastern Shore. I didn't get a screenshot (I was thinking this wasn't anything new when I saw it on the phone), but I did leave a Sensorly streak. It was one of the sites in the cluster along US-301 headed toward DE. I wouldn't be to surprised to find that more of those sites in that area are now live. I will be back there tomorrow or Wednesday to investigate further.
  8. I would suggest their thank you donation could be of a certain non-monetary form that would also appreciated.
  9. Maybe Masa can convince the Carlson family to take some of his share in S... That may be the first step to the one merger that makes sense to me.
  10. I'd prefer to see the format BXX2 myself, but BXX#2 would be just as helpful for people to make the distinction between a second carrier and carrier aggregation.
  11. I might be able to swing by there at some point. So far the only small/pico sites I have seen around Baltimore have been Verizon.
  12. I usually have usable LTE at Dover AFB (and that is despite the fact they haven't touched the Sprint site on the base, I assume some hang up with getting permits from the Air Force). Unless it is the time of day, I don't normally find myself there during working hours during the week. Look at the coverage Smyrna has and that is from only two sites. I don't think they need to do that in Dover, they need to add a few sites inside the city and add a few on the peripheries (Those outside sectors could be tuned for distance though). I also think they need to begin adding sites in Smyrna, there is all ready significant development there and more has been approved, just not built yet. The beach sites need B41 and two B25 carriers (though a single 10 MHz would be better) and B26, at least during the tourist season. And the beaches need more sites, both macro and pico. The numbers of users in an area like that are probably staggering.
  13. Dunno. But several of them now have microwave dishes and at least once that is turned on (as it has been in a few places) 3G data is more usable. They maybe planning on doing LTE GMO but they haven't done it yet here.
  14. There is one site with 1x800 that doesn't have LTE in DE(that I can think of), the one in Frederica. But I would say nearly every full build site has LTE now.
  15. At least one of the three sites in Rehoboth Beach was live this afternoon when I passed through. I will need to look at my SCP logs to confirm which one, but it is now showing on Sensorly.
  16. I didn't catch that detail in my first read....
  17. Robert, did you get any pictures of these sites?
