  1. Looking at the plans, it shows no carriers. However it does show multiple racks and multiple spaces for equipment at the base. The tower company might be speculating and building without any firm carrier (or other user) commitments. I would watch for an updated plan submission, or if this is already approved a new permit with carrier equipment included.
  2. Don't have a screen shot handy, but I did confirm that the site south of Dover Downs is live.
  3. Fantasy Island https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_xG7Qwv23sg
  4. Glad to hear that. Now I don't have to think of this scenario.
  5. I have also had this happen several times. This has occurred on two different computers in my case.
  6. Looks like the site south of Dover Downs might be. If I get some time I will check it out later today.
  7. At least my memory works, but that certainly doesn't sound like a workable solution for the problem... On further reflection its not a short term solution. Maybe if they where at the point where they where shutting down all the EVDO carriers and leaving only LTE and 1x carriers this might be a long term way to do it.
  8. Maybe I am confusing things I have read around here in the past, but isn't there a way to run a CDMA network on a GSM core? If there is, would that allow the seamless handovers?
  9. I was thinking that might be a possibility. That might partially explain why Samsung's financing was significantly larger than ALUs...all though it doesn't explain the amount Nokia provided (of course maybe that might be needed to clean up after Ericsson)...
  10. True, from my understanding between their spectrum holdings and customer base though selling off Chicago (and St Louis) made financial sense though.
  11. This. Fortunately (sort of) USCC doesn't seem interested in exiting the business. Ntelos should be the first order of business. At the current share price nTelos could be bought for about $150 million.
  12. BWI is a black hole for coverage. Sprint needs both a macro and DAS site there...
