    I know there is 20% off accessories at sprint.com also(no need to buy two or more). I do like me some amazon though haha.

     

     

    Pretty crazy! Starting at 3k, what's the upgrade price? Haha :P

    I think I just found the case I want. It's the UAG one, I loved the white one and it's everything I'm looking for in a case. I love the industrial design.

    I started with an Otterbox Commuter since I loved the one on my Evo LTE.  I liked it but for some reason not as much as I thought I would.  Maybe I was still getting used to the phone.  Then I got the Best Buy Platinum case (same as the Seidio Surface) and I like it more, but now I'm wanting something with a bit more protection.  I'm considering now the Incipio Dual Pro CF, but my concern with that is the silicone stretching out too much over time.  What stinks is like Luis said; it's hard to find any of this stuff in stores.  Something that probably would have been a 10 minute decision if I could compare them to takes a while since you're ordering stuff online.

    My thoughts exactly, to be honest, I would have bought a case on the spot at this point I just want something else to exchange every now and then. These retail stores are honestly losing out on some money... Oh well, amazon it is then :P

    What cases do you guys have? I am thinking of a commuter otterbox or a cruzerlite. I'm not too rough with my phones, more for scratches and the rare 5 foot drop on possible concrete.

    I have the Double Dip Flip case from HTC, but I've been looking for a different case and it's nearly impossible to find in retail stores. I went to four different stores yesterday and they didn't have anything. It was ridiculous!

    My US Cellular phone (GS4) will roam even with available native signal. It seems to move to the strongest network regardless of whether its native or not. I think its a product of the PRL they use though.

    Both phones were on the same PRL. I didn't mind, I was still able to use my phone, just an observation I made.

    Back to the HTC ONE topic, I've noticed the ONE will roam sooner than the EVO LTE. At my friends house yesterday I was on roaming while my friend was still on Sprint, but with only one bar that would come and go on his EVO LTE. Other times I have noticed that I will also go into roaming first when compared to other phones on Sprint.

    I do as well. People always seem so shocked when you hand them a used device in the original box. Glad I'm not alone.

    From my experience selling used devices, at least here in MIA, the box can be the difference between $50 to maybe even $100 if it's a more popular device.

    So I'm having my classic dilemma when ever I have a new phone. I want to root this phone so badly. Has anyone rooted theirs? I've read online that it's been really simple to root. If you did what's your current ROM?

    I get this error msg about once a week. Running stock s3. I know gapps is the package you install when you use roms. But nothing crashes when I get this error. eze7ypah.jpg

    I used to get a similar notification when I rooted my EVOLTE and installed CM10, unfortunately for me when that would happen my data wouldn't work, sometimes it wouldn't come back for hours.

    Yes. Unless you start using paints that have IR blocking characteristics... (and other frequencies outside the visible color spectrum for that matter).....But for cell phone frequencies, it should not matter.

    LOL, I had to google this. Never knew this was possible. Regardless I don't think a smartphone manufacturer would sabotage a phone by using cell phone signal blocking paint. I would love to see a black one in person though.

    I also was looking at the black version, and I think I like better than silver.... Any feedback on black vs. silver when it comes to signal performance?  I don't think it should matter much, but just asking....

    The only thing color has to do is with the absorption and reflection of the visible color spectrum, so no, color has nothing to do with reception.

    It was a glitch.  You were not connected to LTE; you were connected to EV-DO, as SignalCheck clearly indicates.  The EVO LTE cannot connect to LTE and EV-DO simultaneous because both share the same RF path.

    I've actually seen this happen, but when it happens to me the phone connects to 4G a second after, but both bars will show signal strength.... Would it have anything to do with the phone switching to LTE?

    How can this happen?  This is in a non-4g area.  Usually I can pick up 4g if I'm on a high enough floor in a building, but this was in a ground level outdoor parking lot.

    Wow, I work literally two minutes North East of you, on Miracle Mile. Anyway, 4G has actually been working pretty well near Coral Gables. Everyday on my drive back home, I take LeJeune south and then head west on Ponce de Leon, and I have 4G the whole time. I wouldn't doubt if by the school they finally started deploying it fully as well. Also one more thing, in my office I get 4G now too.

    I think you are right,  but the second led was disabled all together and I think it was originally designed to be a notification for wimax.    There were a few kernels that enabled it to be used for other things.

    A WiMax LED? How strange xD

    So rumor has it that 4.2 is being released today to the international versions of the HTC ONE. Hopefully Sprint will be good to us, and get it out soon :)
