Awesome. I'll have to go back and look at it closer tomorrow if I get a chance. If not it'll be Monday and I'll hopefully get better pictures.
Am I correct with thinking the panel on the far left in the first picture is nv equipment as well? The other two look familiar to legacy panels I've seen on the tower around the corner from my house.
Nv equipment? Sorry for the dark pictures. I just left work and wanted to go check the local tower. I've been told there's been people hanging from the tower working on it.
1 of 2 possible nv cabinets?
Somewhat close look at an nv panel?
Possible nv cabinet #2?
Went to the base of a tower that would serve my house and stared at old legacy panels wondering when they'll get 4g...
Lte must be coming... Hopefully.
Kinda weird that the One is on ev-do and the s4 is on ehrpd in my store and they're only a few feet from each other. Hopefully we get lit up soon over here.
There's a lot of purple out there now. A lot more than I thought there would be so quick.
Seeing it come up so quick is making me curious as to when Racine and Kenosha will get theirs.
Hold your power button for ten seconds and see if it comes back to life. It might take longer but that's the equivalent of a battery pull for that phone.
Edit. I just saw you've tried power. Just wasn't sure if you've done this.
We didn't get the z10 because it's successor the a10 was in the works and sprint wanted to wait for that one. I've read it somewhere online and can't remember where now.
Only reason I have not jumped ship is I just got Lte and I'm not too eager to give it up yet. I also am waiting for the network to be a little more complete and for tri band phones to be released.
I'm starting to dislike us cell myself. The money they got from the Chicago region buy out went right towards iPhones and it sounds like plan prices are going to jump even for non iPhone users once that happens. My bill is already high enough and I only have 2 gigs of data on a 4g phone.
I'll admit. I'm a us cell customer who is thinking of switching to sprint and when I brought up sensorly on the forum we have, only ONE person decided to download it and run it. I map pretty much where ever I go that isn't purple though.
It wouldn't surprise me to see those speeds go up. Reading through other threads it seems that speeds start off lower and go up as the tower gets some age on it.
Those are some pretty good speeds for it being a fresh tower. Seems to be the trend with sprint that they start it up with slow speeds til they get everything tuned in the right way. Thanks for the reply and speed test data.
^ it can take a day or two for the data to show up on their maps and I've noticed sometimes you have to scroll in really close for it to show up. It doesn't always load what's there.
