  1. As probably the one person on this board who has actually met John Saw, and spent time with him 1:1, can tell you that the guy is freaking brilliant and knows what he's talking about. Also believes in it.
  2. You know what's crazy depressing? Everyone here is complaining at not getting a break as an existing customer, where Verizon, T-Mobile, and AT&T all came out with newer plans which the VAST MAJORITY of their base switched to already. Thus the newer offers work better for them because they are already on higher plans. No one seems to make an apples to apples comparison, just moving goal posts.
  3. I don't think you will see higher upload speeds, it's a ratio for download/upload with a finite spectrum resource.
  4. But on a realistic note, what people forget is that this plan goes directly against T-Mobile's unlimited data plan, rather than Sprint. I hate to say it but in most urban markets it's usually T-Mobile vs. Verizon, and Sprint & AT&T picking up the rest. This will stem the tide of Verizon defectors, and also entice some folks to come back. As for me personally, I carry a Verizon phone as well as my Sprint phone for work, and travel the country on business travel. Very rarely do I run into a place where my Sprint phone doesn't work as well, so it's not worth the expense to switch.
  5. Sprint already has the nonrestrictive audio/video streaming, just as a premium upgrade. Verizon already bakes in it, do you see what they did there?
  6. So I'm using Google Voice, integrated with Sprint, to get my Sprint number to ring on my work phone. Currently I use Hangouts on the work phone to get the dual dialer, but that's OTT. The Google Voice app works pretty well, but I find that if I default the phone to use the GV number as outbound calling, some of my calls fail. Thoughts?
  7. No worries man, I'm sorry for accusing you of trolling. Was spending too much time reading Reddit.
  8. I got a chance to see the Massive MIMO unit in person, have to say it's heavy as hell! The Nokia mini-macros on the other hand are tiny as hell.
  9. Same reason why customers need to purchase new devices to access B12 and B66 No one is breaking up with anyone, stop trolling.
  10. That's exactly what happened. I didn't realize there was an associated confirmation message.
  11. Just got it today, my device is Google Voice Integrated so that was a surprise. Came along with a Messenger software update in Play store. Running the N beta on an S7 Edge.
  12. Not necessarily, just saying that they are dedicated vs. shared
  13. Most are dedicated low-band while Sprint's equipment are dual tech. The only downside is that you can do limited tilt and power as opposed to dedicated panels.
  14. Update being released in January will disable the device, announcement went out today on newsroom.sprint.com http://newsroom.sprint.com/blogs/devices-apps-and-services/sprint-samsung-galaxy-note7-exchange-update--dec-9-2016.htm
  15. Good to know. I'm back in town for an event, enjoying the sweet B41 3 carriers at the hotel near the water.
  16. I forgot to check, wasn't paying attention on my voice calls
  17. I'm up in Buffalo right now, specifically Cheektowaga and seeing all 3 B41 carriers on my devices. Service is very usable at the hotel near the airport.
  18. I'm sitting in Terminal 4 right now, gate B43, and camped on a perfectly usable B25 signal. Speeds are averaging 13-15mbps on the downlink.
