  1. I took some screenshots of the device enabled with Calling Plus.
  2. Interesting, will pay closer attention next time I'm in the area.
  3. No, not really. Think of it as an extension of the WiFi Calling already built into the device.
  4. Sure, I'll reset the device and upload pictures later.
  5. This isn't true VoLTE in the complete sense, just a way to route audio calls over LTE rather than 1x/PSTN. That's why there is a giant BETA disclaimer on it.
  6. I have a J7 that I just flashed the build on. The initial setup was straight forward, similar to enabling WIFI Calling, the user is prompted with a toggle to enable calls over LTE. I haven't tested any calls yet, but will do so tomorrow. The one challenge I have is that my apartment building elevator is an RF blackhole, so I'll hand off from WIFI to 1x to 3G before reconnecting with LTE.
  7. Interesting, was just at JFK last week, didn't notice while in the Uber.
  8. No issues so far with any car or headset I have used.
  9. On another note, was in DC this week and picked up B25 CA quite often. EARFCN 8165 and 8665
  10. T-Mobile's network is nowhere near anything as stable as Verizon's network. I just did a project using T-Mobile and Verizon as backhaul for a test, and T-Mobile's coverage was sorely lacking 5 minutes away from city center. Side by side, Verizon is > 50mbps while T-Mobile is around 3mbps.
  11. It's the info though. Nothing new of substance.
  12. Same IP core. Sprint has operated a wireline network for years, long before the birth of Sprint Nextel and Sprint PCS even.
  13. You shouldn't have to update the data profile often though.
  14. I believe the number of sites with no updates/3G only are down to less than 5% of the total sites nationwide. Almost all due to issues that are beyond Sprint's control.
  15. Sprint's isn't a LEC, cannot just run fiber with no where to connect to. The current situation with backhaul involves AAV (alternate access vendors) or the LEC lighting up the fiber from the cell site to the switch. From there it runs on Sprint core fiber through their MPLS network. https://www.sprint.net/lg/lg_start.php
  16. That would be providing half ass coverage to limited customers rather than full ass coverage to the core base.
  17. Richy, I would recommend reaching out to Samsung directly for hotel displays. PM me if you want for more information.
  18. What's that old saying? Walk a mile in their shoes... I'd wager that 99.9% of the people on this thread have never worked in wireless retail and really have no idea what it takes to do so.
