  1. Are the phones shipping from Mountain View?
  2. I only chose standard shipping, something tells me mine won't ship until Nov 5th....
  3. I think you can still activate the phone without a sim card, but you will need the sim card for LTE. This is just my understanding.
  4. I didn't read the full specs before ordering, I thought the 5 was going to have an microSD card slot. I messed up on this one. But I'm just going to start putting my music on the cloud.
  5. phone doesn't come with a sim card, need to go to a repair store to get one. Don't know cost (if any) or if the repair stores even have the sim cards. This is what I know.
  6. if all else fails, call and preorder with a sales rep who can manipulate the system....
  7. Yea. I didn't realize they overhauled their plans, I haven't changed in 2 years. If you sign a new contract, you will need to do a new plan.
  8. Correct, shipped right to my door. I was able to keep my current plan and everything. I had a data plan already that included unlimited messaging and data, obviously if you don't have a data plan you will HAVE to change since you're getting a smart phone.
  9. I plan on getting dead silence when I call my local Sprint repair center tomorrow and ask about this process.
  10. I preordered the GS3 online when it became available for preorder July 2012, It shipped the day it was released to Sprint ( days later). I would pre-order online.
  11. Ive been told if youre activating inline with your current plan (swap) you can do it on Sprints website. But this was from a Sprint store employee...so....
  12. All University owned phones are on Verizon.
  13. You really should check the completed maps since you're a sponsor, this will let you know if there are even any 800 voice towers near where you're not getting connection.
  14. lol, sorry I live in Sycamore now, that is where my mind was.
  15. You should have been able to grab LTE from there, the tower on the corner of Peace Rd and RT 64 has a ton of sectors... The tower on Whipple Road has LTE active, but the sectors are strange.....its hard to connect to that tower for LTE.
  16. Perhaps you guys should start a separate thread for battery discussion....
  17. It is funny you bring this up, because I was just thinking about this the other day. My phone gets amazing battery life when its connected to an LTE signal.
