  1. A total technology change has happened in clearwires history already. They had plans for this already and it worked extremely well. They replaced the expedience devices 1-1 with wimax devices and did a rapid change-out. So "upgraded to work with LTE" is 100% accurate
  2. That is butyl and tape, see link. http://multimedia.3m...TSevTSeSSSSSS-- It is absolutely the "industry standard" for all connections some carriers IE att are starting to use some clam shells. as a labor saver. z250, I assume you work in the cable industry?
  3. I would assume it would be upgraded, I'm not up to speed on all the NV intricacies. Although I do believe the plan was that if say a Nextel site was in a more prime location than say the sprint site that site may be moved to the old nextal site as a switcharoo but otherwise ALL the metro cell equipment is coming out one way or another,
  4. I'd venture to guess a really old sprint site and Nextel was on the collar below it would be easier to tell if is saw the ground EQ
  5. They are expensive to maintain and sites where they have multiple leases they are paying rent 2x
  6. Without looking I would assume it's a hacked out nextel site they have been hacking them out prior to modernization.
  7. I read that sprint is pulling the sites they DO have completed out so they can complete Chicago as they need more radio parts..
  8. It's actually a primary Hennepin county tower that is now tied into armer.... sorta kinda my thing (shrug)
  9. I have a feeling that's t-mobile but, not one of my contractors.
  10. Unfortunately I can't see anything with a 1x1 picture..
  11. If I see it happening I'll let you know that's how you'll know
  12. The site by ford is t-mobile, the site behind target is att and sprint
  13. The crew at 10th and Adams is my crew no LTE for you unless you bought a t-mobile phone.. you would have also notice a crew on the power tower by apple ford last week.
  14. No, the lte comes from a seprate radio FRIG and in most markets the existing aws equipment and lines are being used.
  15. The radio in the picture is a NSN FXFB running GSM and 1900 umts antennas are normally Andrews TMBXX_6517-A2M's
