Does anyone else think 2770MAh battery is enough? They should really aim for 3K+.

Hey Mike,
Any word on the No Connection bug for WCDMA on GS7, GSM variants?
-
Interesting idea. I wonder how people will respond to it.
-
Any of you guys using the GS7 on T-Mobile or AT&T? If so, does SignalCheck provide an accurate dBm value for WCMDA/HSPA?
Mine just shows No Connection. I don't think the Sprint variant is affected.

Unfortunately this is closer to my workplace rather than my home. Otherwise I'd probably be ok with having a cell tower on my lot. haha

What happened once they took a look?
They actually called me to tell me they adjusted the downtilt, but it did not resolve the slow data speeds. But at least I got a confirmation that they actually sent a technician out.

I was at Disney about a year ago and Sprint, even on B25 was really good there.Drove from south florida disney world. Saw all lte, on b41 until indian river county, with b25 and b26 in areas where it was 3G before. Definitely something was done in the last couple months. Signal never got above 110 db.
Epcot was great. Had b41 outdoor, b25 or b26 indoor. I was inside the japan area of Epcot, ran speedtest and got 23 down and 8 up on b25. Data was great. I was able to check for wait times and switch rides with my fastpass the whole day.

Just from personal experience, I reported slow data speeds for over a year on one spot weekly and they never even took a look until I contacted Marcelo's email. From my experience its a huge waste of time. Nothing ever gets done. Its like reporting to nothing.

Brexit has shocked markets today.
While fundamentally I do not believe Sprint's recent run up back into the $4 was justified, I also would consider buying again if it heads back into the low or even mid-$3 range.
I sold all of my shares at $4.12. I'm ready to purchase again once it drops. It's been hovering between $3-$4 for the last 2 years. I'm in the same boat.

All carriers stocks are down today but Sprint is down the most at 6% last checked.
If it keeps falling wouldn't be suprised if it goes below $4.
Stock Market as a whole is down a lot today. Sprint tends to be a lot more volatile with its debt standing.

I'm not even a mod here anymore and I've been really hard on Sprint lately. Yet I'm having people dox me on Fierce.
Yes I'm still listed as such but it might be time to delist me as such.
Getting really sick and tired of it. Especially considering the hate is more or less coming from one individual.

It's some dude over on HowardForums. It's ridiculous though. Fiercewireless doesn't even let people post the word S4GRU there anymore. LOL

That actually came yesterday or the day before. HahaThat must mean that we're due for another hit piece starring the one and only Craig Moffett.

I wouldn't hold my breath. It goes to show that Sprint, as a company, cannot properly execute their network plans. It's going to take Son coming in and taking over how everything's running. But, this has been rumored for awhile. Sprint is finally starting to see a glimpse of potential profit, but they're doing it at too slow of a pace in an industry that is highly competitive (where natural customer growth is stunted, this industry has to rely on stealing customers from competitors.)Food for thought...we know Son has no problem complaining about Sprint publicly. Yet he says he wants to develop Sprint to its full potential. He feels like he needs to get directly involved with Sprint now. He is going to stir a lot up being more involved. It's going to be directly on his shoulders, and he does not take no for an answer.
I think Marcelo has been bending his ear for a long time saying he needs him to get into the game directly with him. I'm cautiously optimistic this could be the catalyst that will stop from turn around mode to charge ahead mode.

Sprint stock above $4. Really contemplating whether I should sell now or not.
EDIT: Finally decided to sell them off. $4.13/share. Watch it go up to $4.50 in the next month. Just my luck. haha
EDIT2: So, Sprint is now $4.28. Damn it. I needed $4.24 for awhile now and I decide to sell for a slight loss and then they go and do that.

Sprint and ATT speeds were consistent. T-Mobile was all over the place. High low sometimes the download was slower than the upload.

Which parts of Jax are you in? Sprint is slow as a turd here in Southern Jax, but can be pretty consistent the closer you get to downtown. It's mainly the suburbs/rural where Sprint is typically sluggish, at least in St Johns/St Augustine.
-
Just a little speed test comparisons between AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobile. (In that exact order from left to right) AT&T is on the iPhone 6, Sprint is the Nexus 6, and T-Mobile is a LG Leon.
I was testing these devices while I was waiting on my food outside a restaurant. All carriers had towers in the area.

All of those speeds are very usable. I wish all of the carriers were able to provide those type of consistent speeds. T-Mobile's downlink in some speedtests show that there's some congestion.

So is Dish getting B70 to make the spectrum more valuable, or to actually deploy it? From what I've read, they've done nothing in terms of actually utilizing the spectrum for broadband or fixed wireless.

I am surprised that no one has posted this yet. Washington DC appeals court upholds FCC Net Neutrality and Title II reclassification -- so far.

And to the Supreme court it goes...

This is what I will never understand about Sprint. These sites have B41 that are in the middle of nowhere (Terrell pointed out there was a few cow fields with B41 but areas like town center, The Avenues Mall, and other popular spots tend to be on congested B25/B26.I know that site well and I have never seen 2X CA on it before. It's just an extremely unloaded site I believe.
-
I hit 80mbps on a Clearwire B41 site in Orange Park. I don't recall if it was CA or not, though. The Clearwire panels are really bad though. The Sprint (Nokia) ones are a lot better.I have a Galaxy Note 5 and it was on Sprint B41 equipment. I have yet to see any 2X CA on Clearwire equipment in JAX.
EDIT: It was across the street from Hungry Howies. Lol

According to Sprint's LTE coverage map, it looks like Jacksonville just got a lot more LTE Plus enabled. Anyone else agree with the map coverage? I will probably test a few areas in Southern Jax soon with my Ringplus line.
-
They have b2 in Orlando? I have yet to see it. Maybe I come on good days. The only time I see that is band 12 and b4 at like 130dbm but on a good signal. Never.

In most scenarios it was very usable. This was inside the Lego Store in Orlando.
-
I can honestly say I have never seen tmobile below 5 mbps anywhere in the southeast region I have traveled to recently unless there was no coverage or I was on b12.
Around Orlando I hit a few spots that were sub 1mpbs on T-Mobile's B2 and B4.

Is it time to sell S. It's lingering around $4
Sent from my SM-N920P using Tapatalk
I break even at $4.24 so I will try to hold out a bit more, but if history repeats itself, it'll probably drop back down to the lower $3s within a month.

Not bad. Just came back from a trip to Panama City Beach, FL. My T-Mobile line had LTE 97% of the time on the way there and Sprint had 60% (Jax to Panama City going on i10.) Sprint's advantage is that T-Mobile had 2% with no signal and Sprint had 0%. The lack of B41 in Panama City was noticeable. Still nice to see some progress occasionally.
