I really like the Amoled display. It looks better and is better on the battery. However, it is prone to screen burn in after a year or so. I'm fine with either one but Amoled looks better imo.

Disappointed. You get more with the S7 and/or the iPhone 7.It's too expensive. Google should have priced it lower than Samsung and Apples high end devices.
With the S7 you get,
* Bigger Battery
* Wireless Charging
* SD Slot
* Better financing options.
* Water resistance
All for less than what Google is asking for. The only thing that entices me with the new Pixel is being able to mod it (root/custom ROMs) but that doesn't justify the price point for me.

Not looking good. We'll see though. The specs are underwhelming on the leaked sheet. But I'll withhold judgement until the official specs are there. If the pricing is legit, it's making the Gs7 and HTC 10 look more appealing and even the Op3 and Axon 7 even more.Hopefully one of the two devices have a sub $500 pricetag.

Where will you be using the service the most? Performance is very location dependent.I am in between T-Mobile and Sprint right now. Any opinions?

Agreed. I'm noticing a large difference downtown Jax now, but it's likely due to them enabling CA overnight as well.In the tweet, note the "not seeing much of a difference." That could be because these MIMO and modulation enhancements may require such optimal signal quality as to make little difference in the grand scheme. The only network upgrades that practically are guaranteed to improve overall performance in all signal conditions are spectrum bandwidth and site density.

The new S7 update on T-Mobile enabled 4x4 MIMO!

That's why I specified just in Jacksonville. Even Terrell pointed out that the southern parts of Florida have seen some noticeable improvements.You do realize that not even the #1 rated network is great everywhere, anytime. Location, location, location, and time, time, time. VZW, AT&T, and T-Mobile all have similar sore spots in all markets at times. You cannot generalize any reliable conclusions from that.

If the device is running hot, the CPU will throttle itself to prevent heat damage. That's probably what you're experiencing.My update just hit today. Post update "app install" is slower than molasses.

2770MAh battery probably won't do it for me this year. I'm not going below 3000 anymore. Although I miss flashing ROMs and such, I believe I will personally enjoy using the S7 one this new Nex-..ermmm.. Pixel. Hoping the rumored specs are wrong though.

I've experienced B41 and it really is awesome. The issue is that it's like seeing a unicorn in Jacksonville. I'm not sure why Jacksonville is a low priority market. I am just guessing Sprint doesn't have a good market share here.north florida is different. From the villages onwards even rural cities have b41. Jacksonville market is not getting much love this year. Hundreds of sites with b25/26 only. That's not changing til next year maybe.

Definitely not in Jacksonville. At my new office downtown, I'm pulling 0.5mbps on LTE. ????We are all most at the 17 month mark. I don't see any miracles happening in the next 30 days, winter will be here shortly as well which may play a role in slowing things down.
But! He did say 18-24 months!

It was one of the first triband sprint devices and it was one of the first devices with the snapdragon 800. Not to mention it was very affordable. The same storage options today are the standard for flagships in 2016... It's like Google hasn't advanced hardly at all since the 5.The correct answer, of course, is the Nexus 5. It was the best Nexus. Groundbreaking, stylish, inexpensive, flagship caliber.

The iPhone supports MIMO 4x4? That's news to me.

Does anyone know why kind of modem/radio is in the G930F variant? I'm trying to find out if it's 4x4 MIMO capable.

Just tested it now (happened to connect to it.)I got ~5mbps download on it the other day. This was inside the Everbank building.
Much better today.

Aren't they preparing to swap the C block with Sprint in the PCS swaps?That's really odd. Head scratcher.
T-Mobile has a TON of spectrum in Jacksonville, with 50 MHz of AWS-1 and 20 MHz of A block and 30 MHz of C block.
This 10 MHz carrier is using up the full A block.
In my mind it makes far more sense to deploy in the C block, even if just at 10 MHz, because you have the runway to get to 15 MHz wide.
They could easily have 1c U2100, at least 1c U1900, 5 MHz of GSM, 20 MHz L2100, 15 MHz L1900, and 5 MHz L700.
That's a conservative approach. Considering that they've been moving quickly to 1 UMTS carrier in lots of markets.

10x10 MHz of B2 is live in downtown Jacksonville. No CA that I have noticed yet.

So, I visited Orlando this past weekend for my brother's graduation and I must say Sprint was very congested almost the entire time I was there. Even on B41, I couldn't get anything higher than 1mbps. I'm sure some of it was due to the memorial day weekend and people all going to Disney/vacation, etc. I think I connected to a second B41 carrier (as it appeared in signal check pro), but I wasn't able to confirm if CA was enabled or not on my N5x. Sprint could use that 3rd carrier asap.
So, in the last ~3 months or so, it looks like Sprint's been busy. According to RootMetric's reports, Sprint's rated #2 in Orlando now.

What are people's thoughts on the Tmobile One + plans?
It's much better than the previous plan. I'm not sure how to feel about the unlimited 3G tethering, or the 14GB high-speed tethering. Both have their perks. The international roaming is a much better offer though. They require a 24hr pass to be manually activated every day for HD viewing, which isn't bad but is tedious for some customers. But I think the tiered plans were better overall. The differences in price ranges accommodated a lot of people's needs and a lot of people don't need/want to pay for unlimited data when they don't need to.

RE: auto pay
The best thing to do is have a credit card that gives good points or good percentage back.
Then put all the bills you have, that can be paid via credit card, auto pay on to that good points card.
If you're using an AMEX card, you could be getting 10% back on each monthly bill.

Even though this device doesn't really let me modify it too much (lack of Root), I must say this device exceeds my expectations on a daily basis. Strong radio, water-resistant, great screen (I can actually use it in direct sunlight!), battery life is good, etc. I hope Samsung keeps this up and continues to focus on great battery life. If I had to choose anything hardware-wise, I'd have preferred them go to USB-C port, but you can't have everything.

How would this qualify as a warranty repair/replacement if it was caused by you dropping the phone?
It should be covered under Uh Oh protection. That's one of the devices main selling points. Although I believe Uh Oh protection is only eligible for users that purchased it on HTC.com.
