  1. I use wifi at home for my data and the Airave for voice. The voice & data problem is due to a capacity issue as I've been told. But out and about... I can't get jack. Either voice or data when the tower is having the problem.
  2. That would be nice. I'm literally about 300 yards away from BSID 602 (that crappy tower) as I type this and it's all but useless because of its capacity problem. I have to use my relative's wifi to access this website.
  3. There's also a pretty decent app to post images directly to your Imgur account from your Android device. I don't know if one's available for iTunes, but I suspect one's out there. Check it out here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mitchbarry.imgur&feature=related_apps#?t=W251bGwsMSwyLDEwOSwiY29tLm1pdGNoYmFycnkuaW1ndXIiXQ..
  4. Positive. The Airave metrics are above.
  5. I'm finally back on the Airave. Below are the screen shots if it means anything. 1x RF (Airave) https://skydrive.live.com/redir?resid=AEB715D107B9C9BA!351&authkey=!AJDSf_-fIl5MbWk 1x Protocol (Airave) https://skydrive.live.com/redir?resid=AEB715D107B9C9BA!350&authkey=!AEcNBdXq8pmYqis CDMA Took Kit (Airave) https://skydrive.live.com/redir?resid=AEB715D107B9C9BA!349&authkey=!AKOpRGKe7D0qUBA
  6. Signal strength is VERY sporadic and there's a capacity problem with the tower - particularly between 1500 and 0200 on a daily basis. Sprint says it's fixed but the problem persists. That could explain the work activity at that site (BSID 630). But since that site isn't on the NV map, nor the map at network.sprint.com (i use it for reference, not as a bible) I can't really be sure it's a true Sprint site.
  7. As promised: 1x Engineering-RF Screen https://skydrive.live.com/redir?resid=AEB715D107B9C9BA!348&authkey=!AP6_067t426MMIQ 1x Engineering-Protocol screen https://skydrive.live.com/redir?resid=AEB715D107B9C9BA!347&authkey=!AOXeT1F-w2fkTaw And for giggles, the CDMA Field Test App screen shot https://skydrive.live.com/redir?resid=AEB715D107B9C9BA!346&authkey=!AIAL7yzDJoe1Of8 BSID 20012, which is in the tracking field on the app is my Airave, which, strangely, my phone wants to ignore now. I'm gonna try to trick it into connecting to it by refreshing the PRL and profile and then restarting.
  8. It's the Sammy S III. I'll post screen shots in a moment.
  9. I've had the 2.0 for quite a while (since mid 2011) and never had a problem. I've had to relocate the antenna on the same property a couple times but never a problem.
  10. Would I have to disconnect from my Airave to gather that info? I can access the engineering screens just fine but what's contained in it is mostly Greek to me. WiWavelength's articles about frequencies are enough to give me a slight clue but the rest is lost on a layman like me. Which engineering screen should I look at? I can post screen shots of the appropriate one if that will help.
  11. That begs a couple questions... Is 800 SMR live in Milwaukee (the city, not the market) and Ft. Wayne, IN? If it is, is the Galaxy S III compatible with that? If it is, I'll ask Sprint to swap out the device.
  12. I have had the same problems. It worked flawlessly before any upgrades around me and was HORRIBLE during the upgrades. Now that whatever work that was being performed is complete, the device has calmed down a bit. Sometimes the Airave still bucks and bellows but it's less frequent than before. Try a few hard resets (using the pin hole in the back of the device) in succession. It should make it more stable. It worked for me.
  13. The tracks are elevated and if I want access to them I have to climb over one of two barbed wire fences that prevent that. Plus now that I look, I don't see that site on the sponsor's map. That's not to say it's not a Sprint site, there's a very slim chance that it actually is but not marked on the map. It's puzzling because it's the tower I'm connected to when I'm out of Airave coverage or I've turned it off. The building mounted towers on Schuester Lofts at 11th and Mitchell are much closer, are in my direct line of sight, & a known Sprint site. It's also on the map. My GS2E4GT and my niece's IP4S connect to that one. See this entry for permit pulls: http://s4gru.com/ind...675#entry138675.
  14. You might want to keep an eye on 11th/Mitchell and 1st/Becher. There's been activitiy around those areas but who knows what the real reason is. I'd get a photo of the antennas at 1st/Becher but it's a building mount and it's set back on the roof so I can't get a photo of it unless I trespass on the Canadian Pacific tracks behind it. And I'm not.
