Hmmm.. The only other thing that I can imagine happening here is that your signal is better so its not draining the battery holding onto a weaker signal. Have you seen any tower upgrades in your area? (NV perhaps?)

UPDATE: Works like a charm! Now on to discover some JB goodness is this odin flashable or only via cwm? i can do either but don't want to risk a brick NVM.. maybe you turned off auto-uploads on a cloud based backup or sync app or g+ ? could be possible you changed your password on one of those services so it cannot authenticate to constantly eat up battery in the background

My dilemma is whether or not to replace my gs3 with the note considering an 800mhz capable phone will be out in a 1 1/2 years or less... hmmm methinks sooner with the whole softbank cash infusion. Of course, I can retire my oldest device and move the gs3 down to that line and hold off on the older (year old) phones for another year and go top of the line on the dated stragglers. by then i'm positive at least I will have full LTE in my neck of the woods and all of the device kinks will have been worked out

Lol. Old cousin Eddie... I don't have a metal plate but I do have some sort of strange nodule on my brain stem. For all I know it came from my spook days in the service. I fail to see the governmental relevance of picking up reruns of the golden girls though or radio Disney for crying out loud.
