Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but here is more crap coming from Angry Johnny, and more Magenta love coming from the media...
T-Mobile CEO on passing Sprint: 'Put a fork in it. They're done'
http://www.cnet.com/news/t-mobile-ceo-on-passing-sprint-put-a-fork-in-it-theyre-done/ '> http://www.cnet.com/news/t-mobile-ceo-on-passing-sprint-put-a-fork-in-it-theyre-done/
I'm pretty sure Roger Cheng from CNET has a man crush on Johnny. He is ALWAYS tweeting how awesome tmobile is.

The newest Airrave on Sprint does handoffs to native Sprint network. I know the wifi solution is better because it works anywhere with an existing wifi router, but it's not "something that has never been done" has John Legere would have us believe.

I have to call Apple and order off-contract. Framily isn't supported. That effin' blows.
Can't do easy pay or lease with Framily?

MV squared! So its MV now? is that Masayoshi vision, or Marcelo vision?

Believe any working iPhone is included. Great promo... Not sure what it means for phones without subsidy though.

Anyone know how the promo... "free iPhone 6 valued at $199 with trade in of existing iphone" will work on plans without a subsidy?Sweeet.

Ok... Hope they add an online feature as well.To pay off your phone early, you have to call customer service and tell them you want to pay off Easy Pay on the line you want to pay off.
Wish I didn't get talked into the Galaxy S5...im 3 days beyond the return date... Lol

How did you pay it off? I don't see the option online?I paid off my iPhone 5s about an hour ago, and now when I go to sprint.com, it's telling me I have to wait 3 months before I can get a new device on easy pay. This isn't good by any means.

Just saw Sprint support on Twitter said iPhone 6 Plus 128GB is $35 for lease option.

Lease is only for the base model.
Not true. They just haven't released the details yet. Sprint told me 6 Plus 16gb will be $25 for lease.
-
No they won't do that for some reason. The trade in can cover tax and accessories, then the rest goes to an immediate bill credit.Question. With the buyback program and easy pay, can you turn in a device and apply the credit to the phone reducing the amount of the easy pay payment? Or is it a gift card they send later? For example say my wife wanted to trade for a new iPhone and they give $200 for her current one, would it be $649-$200=$449/24=$18.70? Basically I want the phone credit to reduce the price of the new phone.

Claure admitted t-mobile is doing a phenomenal job, but now it's Sprints time to be the disruptor.
He also said they will soon announce the plan for which cities will be their focus.

This! His B41 changes are wise. Since he focuses with laser like focus and speed, this will help Sprint's image dramatically. If they put B41 on every heavy usage LTE site first, in all markets, people will really start to see and feel progress all over.
The nationwide plan of B41 is Masa's by my understanding. The fact he had the cahones to to tell Masa, we must focus on heavy usage sites first is a very good thing. It also means Masa respects him to let him make a big change.
I'm getting more and more optimistic every day.

Someone told Claure it takes 60 days to change price plans... He said that is unacceptable.

Claure says they have changed their 2.5 deployment plan, going to focus on capacity issues first, then focus on certain cities to get to 100% rather than just all sites. No need to plaster the entire country with 2.5.

"the network is our product. I appluad my predecessor for his plan to rip and replace the entire network. We are accelerating our 800 LTE deployment and our 2.5 deployment (covers 60mil pops). I monitor the network every single day."-Claure

Listening to the Claure web cast right now. So far it's pretty interesting.

Correct... voice over LTE requiredI read somewhere though the handoffs only worked from WiFi <-> LTE, not WiFi <-> 3G, correct?

Agreed. Nobody cares about what they had to do or are doing. Sprint on Twitter is always saying "what is your nearest cross streets and zip code". They need to get beyond that. They are getting there for sure. I really hope they get these lte sites fired up ASAP. People should have solid Lte on I-95 through Baltimore (one of the first Lte markets). They are almost there, but that is the experience new customers will have today. You can't win back customers once they give you a second chance. No potential customer cares about NV equipment being installed or not, they care about LTE coverage or not. They don't care if the slow 3G network sucks a little less because NV equipment is installed, the bar is 'is there good 4G' coverage.'
I'm very happy with Sprint for my needs. I'm looking forward to lte being completed.
Anyone know the lease prices of the iPhone other than the $20 for the 6?

Sprint gave me $220 last month for am iPhone 5s last month... LolSo, regarding resale value - this dinged up iPhone 5S sold for $490 internationally unlocked by Sprint:

I'm going to list mine tonight, start it at $100, 7 day auction, no reserve. I have 1 year of transferable AppleCare+ & a near-mint phone. This should be fun.

I agree and I hope Sprint gets it. I love WiFi calling on my Galaxy S5. But Apple has done this before... AT&T only for a couple years... LolThat seems kind of fishy. It's a feature in iOS 8 - why would it be restricted to just one carrier in the U.S.? Especially restricted to the carrier with the smallest number of iPhone subscribers?
It seems like an awful lot of work for Apple to engineer a Wifi calling option for one network.

Legere said it... They partnered with Apple and are only US carrier to offer it. That will be a big deal for Sprint if it's true :-/Based on what? The slide from the Keynote that left Sprint off?

Is it true the IPhone won't get WiFi calling on Sprint? :-(
