  1. I wasn't referring to people on this site. Just things I have seen and heard from the general public. Friends, family, other websites don't like Sprint. It doesn't bother me. That is their own opinion. But I do agree the industry has a bad reputation, we just don't know any better.
  2. While I agree with that, we are a select few who actually see the truth behind it. The general public hates Sprint and people like Legere because of his attitude and how he gets things done; and because he isn't with Sprint.
  3. I hate to agree with you but the majority of people are bashing Sprint. They complain about poor customer service, lies of a good network, no/poor service, etc. Sprint has a horrible reputation with the general public and as caspar said, I also don't see it getting better for at least 5 years.
  4. While I don't like Legere as much as Hesse, I think Legere would be a great person to have if Sprint and T-Mobile merge. People still dis Sprint and at least if Legere was CEO people would have a higher chance of following him. He is more boisterous than Hesse and he can change things up. While I would rather have Hesse with Sprint, if Legere becomes the CEO, Son will control him and slap him on the wrists if he does something naughty.
  5. I don't mind if Sprint does this. I mean I only use an upward of 2GB a month currently, but doing this will put less burden on the network and help everyone enjoy a more consistent speeds and than having someone taking up more bandwidth while others get less. I think it's fair.
  6. What if Legere is just playing Sprint into getting more money and spectrum? He may say he wants this and at the last moment says he doesn't. Wouldn't that mean there is the breakup fee and T-Mobile gets it or does it depend on who breaks it off?
  7. I got a text yesterday saying the new network is here, though I'm still on 3G with okay speeds around .84 down or -98dbm and passable voice coverage with -88dbm. Though I'm only on a GS3, so no triband for me.
  8. I agree, I think Sprint and Son in general want their spectrum, customers and more towers to have a bigger scale. I think with the added towers, it would provide them a larger footprint in the US.
  9. I still find it amazing how almost everyone is against it just because they think Sprint sucks. They have no knowledge of what is actually going on unlike us here. While overall I think it would be good is Sprint bought T-Mobile, I have a feeling that would cause more headache in the long-term. Would Sprint then redo part of its network to implement the new frequencies? It's hard to say until we hear more. I read they may announce something within the next couple of months.
  10. Question, my dad just got the S4 and I thought they only sold triband ones now but he didn't get it. Did he need to request for the triband? Edit: He bought it from Best Buy, that must have been why.
  11. That would be a good way to do it. I told my mom about it and if it is the same price as the GS3 or even cheaper, that is a heck of a deal, especially for a tri-band device.
  12. This is very interesting. Would be good for a cheap tri-band phone for anyone who can't afford the latest and greatest. Would be a good incentive for people to upgrade their old phone for something that isn't as expensive.
  13. One thing that doesn't make sense though is other teams have done this and continue to do this in every major sport and they don't get sued for that, but yet the Seahawks do, that isn't fair, but then again life isn't fair. But I do agree briank, it will be interesting to see what happens.
  14. Has anyone heard of this? John E. Williams III is suing the Seahawks for selective ticket selling for $40 million. This is ridiculous. You can read about it here. Also, the NFL is punishing the Seahawks for being to good at home. Does anyone else think this is ridiculous? Read about it here
  15. hmm... I don't know if you can give any information out about it but Robert may be interested in that. So far around Kenmore, Lake Forest Park, Shoreline, Mountlake Terrace and Lynnwood I haven't seen any 800. As with Roberts updates, he only gets the info from his sources when they have something. Hard to say, though I hope you're right.
  16. Well if you guys are really interested in more 800 info, become a premier sponsor and you can get all the information you need. Last thing I heard was it would be a couple years before we see any 800.
  17. While I wish it was real, I highly doubt it is. The information I have seen in the sponsor section hasn't said anything about 800 up here yet. I don't think the government has made a deal with Canada yet.
  18. I am in the north end of Lake Washington and I haven't seen any yet. I will keep checking. They will be able to build 800 out once the US and Canada come to an agreement. But maybe I am missing something. Maybe Robert knows a little more information regarding this. I am wondering though, where did you get this information?
