  1. Okay, I knew there was something that was affected by IBEZ, I just couldn't remember which one. Thanks for the clarification.
  2. Well then I guess I'll need to work on getting my premier status and have to get a Triband phone. I didn't think they were releasing band 41 up here yet because of interference with Canada, or is that something completely different?
  3. You could be right on that, and I hope you are. Since we won't see the other bands up here for awhile we will need to rely on b25. One thing I thought though was if the 3G signal was stronger than LTE it would revert back to 3G? Maybe I'm wrong on that. Even if the towers used the same frequency, I believe it would help if there were more towers because one specific tower won't be over strained with more traffic. It could offload it to other surrounding towers.
  4. I hate to say it but that is a little sad to already see those speeds after the towers were upgraded. I know we all want to see improvements but if this is already happening what will it be like if Sprint gets more subscribers?
  5. Nice, I did a test in Kenmore and I got some great download speeds. I couldn't believe my eyes
  6. Up in Lake Forest Park I've been getting band 25 but only through my lte engineering screen. Signal is still too weak.
  7. Saw this article on Cnet and found it somewhat interesting. Just curious if anyone heard about this and what they think?
  8. As of right now I don't have another phone to try out, something I will try when I do though. I know it could be a number of things causing this issue. I've tried the prl and profile update but haven't noticed a difference. I know the issue will be resolved in time. Was just curious if anyone knew of a possible reason why.
  9. Hey everyone, so when I'm on ehrpd, even though my phone says it has a signal I can't get any data to go through. As of currently I'm on ehrpd with a dmb of -93. I've wanted to do speed tests but they fail every time, and only on ehrpd. When I'm connected to evdo I have no issues. Anyone know the reason why this may be happening?
  10. Did it only take you 15 minutes as well?
  11. I hope it comes soon. 4.3 is okay but I really want me some KitKat
  12. Hey, I just donated $5.00. I know that isn't a whole lot but I know every little bit helps. Thanks to everyone for your great support.
  13. I've seen some LTE around me and have gotten speeds up to 26 Mbps down, when they complete the NV or at least upgrade their 3G, what kind of speeds could I expect?
  14. I got a text stating over the next month, the new network will be largely completed. If it's within a month I'll be really happy. I hope it's true!
  15. jthawks- Sorry for the delay, I went up Sandpoint today and only had 3G speeds by 95th. d/l was .76 and u/l was .1. I'm not positive how to check which band it was on. Sorry for not more info. If I can out more info I will let you know
  16. Hi jthawks. I'm not exactly sure what is going on with the lte around here. I'm fairly close to sand point way, I can head up that way tomorrow and let you know what I find. I like the go hawks comment.
  17. I'm curious about something I heard. I heard Sprint only uses 10MHZ total so only 5 MHz upstream and 5 MHz downstream, which he said would mean lower speeds. Can someone describe if this is true and/or what this exactly means? Thanks
  18. Thank you drlovety. I appreciate your input. I've also considered T-Mobile since their plans are also cheap. It's a tough call for me on them. I have some friends who love them and some say they have had nothing but trouble with them. It's something I will look into, but as of right now I think I'll give Sprint the benefit of the doubt and wait 3 months to see if there is any difference when the towers are upgraded. As for the Airave, we got one for my sister in California because she was having horrible reception as well. I'm not sure they will give 2 away for free, but that would be nice! My contract isn't up until September, but I may be able to get out of my contract for terrible service. I'm just keeping my options open and trying to learn as much as I can so I can try and make the best possible decision. Thank you all for your help.
  19. I have seen LTE around me in neighboring cities such as Kenmore and have done speed tests where I could get 26 down. It's right around where I live it's still pretty poor. Really bad 3G and spotty voice, getting dropped calls, not receiving or being able to send texts. But I think it may be worth it to stick with Sprint at least for 3 months and see what happens. If I see an improvement like other cities, I'll be very happy. Here is hoping to a big improvement. Thanks JoeJoeJoe
  20. I am wondering if anyone has received the upgraded towers? Have you noticed a big boost in voice quality and data speed? I've been thinking of switching to Verizon because of the network issues with Sprint still. Sprint says the towers around me are scheduled to be upgraded within the next 3 months. I would just like as much info as possible to help with my decision. I would like to stay with Sprint because of the plans. Thanks for your help
  21. NE 186th street and 43rd Ave NE. I have noticed some improvements lately. Some spots of LTE, but 3G is still bad. I know they are doing a lot of work up here now, and I'm guessing that is the reason I've been having these issues.
  22. I'm curious if anyone knows. I live in Lake Forest Park, north end of Lake Washington and every month for the past 4-5 months the tower(s) have gone down for a number of days. Anyone have any idea what might be going on? Thanks in advance.
