  1. I haven't as I use Tapatalk most of the time, but I'm not happy with the changes they have made to their app. It's not for the better when they start removing options and features.
  2. You have to use an image hosting site. We have very little storage space to place pictures in. Dropbox & imgur are great places to host pics on.
  3. If you have the tool to remove the battery, sure.
  4. My grandpa gave me a Centris 600AV, too bad I scratched a pin on the motherboard. But the 840AV was the perfect replacement.
  5. My Mid 2009 is still working after 5 years, but the battery is shot and the trackpad click doesn't work much, and the SuperDrive needs to be replaced.
  6. I have almost all Apple Gear in my home. 2 MacBook Pros, 1 iBook, 2 Toshiba laptops, Power Mac G3 tower, Quadra 840AV. 2 iPhone 3GS's, iPhone 5, iPhone 5S, and Nexus 5.
  7. There are enough rumors to create a website as big as this forum just on the iPhone 6 alone, not counting the generations before it. I would sure hope that Apple doesn't have a camera that sticks out like that. Yuck!
  8. Have you ever done a reset of Network Settings?
  9. I found S4GRU on Facebook by searching for Sprint's 4G deployments late summer 2011. I was looking forward to WiMax in Pahrump, which never came. But once Network Vision was announced, I decided to stick around for the long term. I can't believe it's been 3 years already.
  10. Adoption rate can be slow at times when people don't want to upgrade their phones. I have 3 friends still on 3G based iPhone's on Verizon. They should upgrade, but convincing them is the hard part.
  11. Sprint spun off their landline division to focus on wireless. However, there was a mistake in that plan. It's unfortunate too. Kansas City and Las Vegas were 2 of Embarq's biggest markets, and Embarq's was the largest ILEC in the US. Sprint should have kept them.
  12. As the FCC OET ambassador, I have never found an LTE equipped Airave. And as Tim said, the push to wifi calling is great, and will most likely replace the Airave as the preferred home/work calling solution. Airave's have been nothing but a headache for Sprint and many smartphone users. Triband devices won't handoff to them unless LTE is not active, and iPhone users are hit and miss with them. It's just not a sustainable product long term.
  13. Oh that's right, you just got yours replaced last month, wasn't it?
  14. I have a Gold 64GB, but I think I'm going to pass it down to my friend like I gave her my iPhone 5.
  15. I'll have my iPhone paid off by the end of August so I can get one on EasyPay when it's released.
  16. iPhone nerds unite! Recode has learned that Apple has set a media event for September 9th. That's only 5 weeks from now. http://recode.net/2014/08/05/codered-apple-to-hold-iphone-event-on-sept-9/
  17. I wish I had a dev account so I can test it out for you now that I finally installed the Yosemite beta on my Mid 2009 MacBook Pro last night. Of course, I am not running the same Yosemite beta as the devs are. Unless the problem is in the public beta being not compatible with SMS relay.
  18. Best Buy price matches? Nice!
  19. That model hasn't come in yet across the board. Apple is saying 1-3 days shipping time on their site.
  20. That would work. That would be cheaper than the education store pricing of 1762 with AppleCare.
  21. I recommend no less than 8GB RAM if you are using Photoshop. Xcode can be used well with 4GB.
  22. So far I haven't found anything to beat Apple's education discount for some reason. If you find on to beat it, let me know. I'm going to spend $1579 at Apple for the 13" retina with 2.6GHz Core i5, 256GB Flash drive and 16GB RAM.
