  1. Never mind that! What about that Nokia Lumia 635? I knew nothing about Sprint finally getting a Lumia!
  2. I know I'm going out on a limb here, but I'm guessing the Sprint release date is August 29, based on the fact that App Pass is to be released that day. http://newsroom.sprint.com/news-releases/app-pass-face-sheet.htm
  3. He owns the site still, but I think he got "bought out" by Legere as his site is so much for T-Mobile anymore it makes me sick.
  4. A number WISP operators here in the US are owned by a company called Jab Wireless. I think they have like 9 or 10 different companies now. They serve many mid-western and a few western states. They are in mostly areas with just the local phone company who refuses to finish their fiber buildout, and maybe a cable company who wants $5,000+ to run cable less than a quarter of a mile. In my area, my WISP works pretty well, offering 3/5/10/15Mbps plans. I just recently found out that they are capping the 10 & 15 Mbps plans now. Nothing on their website says they are, yet. Otherwise my only other option is a mobile broadband card from one of the 4 major wireless companies, but it's too expensive when you have such a small data cap.
  5. Oops! Sprint released the Fact sheet for the Sharp Aquos Crystal early as well as the App Pass. http://newsroom.sprint.com/news-releases/sharp-aquos-crystal.htm Same Specs as the SoftBank version. http://newsroom.sprint.com/news-releases/app-pass-face-sheet.htm Edit: This is my 9300th post on this site.
  6. You know. Something we haven't really discussed is SoftBank/Sprint/Brightstar. What was Son's reasoning for buying Sprint? Economies of scale. Brightstar was the other half of that. Could the price war that Marcelo is about to start include Cheaper pricing on all devices, including Flagships?
  7. I think it's more than that. Maybe even an announcement that Sprint will support wifi calling on iOS 8 too? (Wishful thinking)
  8. Sounds interesting. They may not want to take away from what they are announcing tomorrow. Maybe they have more planned than what we have all thought.
  9. Get a liquid proof keyboard this time please!
  10. Marcelo's tweet this morning is gaining popularity fast! 61 Favorites and 58 retweets already!
  11. Max speed for a 10x10 spectrum slice is ~75Mbps.
  12. Been happy with the Beta of Yosemite. Other than the issue of recording video with Photo Booth not working, it's been very stable.
  13. Tapatalk. Post the link from imgur. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  14. It's specialized to exclude 700 A. It was more to keep those with 700 A block spectrum from getting cheaper device costs. There are other carriers that use Band 17 though, so it's not exclusive to AT&T.
  15. Band 17 LTE is B & C blocks of Lower 700MHz spectrum. It's AT&T's boutique band here in the US.
  16. Please don't grow old and die. There is still much we have to learn from you.
  17. Your teasing us so far ahead of time makes it all worth it!
  18. I've been noticing my service acting funny in normally good areas. Hopefully it's just Network Vision, but I'll have them check it just in case.
  19. Funny how we are all mysteriously in the same boat. I wonder if there wasn't a bad set of modems?
  20. I really think that Marcelo's meeting with Tim Cook was about bringing Sprint's Easy Pay to Apple Stores like the other other big 3.
