    There are places in the legacy Sprint network that perform just fine. Especially newer sites. Also, there are many others that have received temp improvments in advance of Network Vision. These are the ones shown on network.sprint.com. With performance like this, you will likely not see much improvement out of Network Vision in 3G, except for probably a slight signal increase. The biggest thing that will affect you will be LTE availability once it comes online and you upgrade your iPhone to use it. Robert

    As long as I don't use my E4GT with the newer modems, then the battery seems to last forever. I unplugged at 6AM this morning I am still at 81%. But I have only used my phone 15 minutes all day. However, if I am stready using my E4GT, battery life has been pretty lousy in general on FD05. Running between 70% and 85% the amount of time it ran on EL29. But definitely not prohibitive, just noticeable. However, I am now not having any bug issues on these last builds. Very happy. And now that I am used to ICS, I cannot go back! Robert

    I didn't buy at a corporate store. It was on opening day. I found this article: http://www.pcmag.com...,2363973,00.asp It says initial pricing was $299 with $100 rebate. I paid $349 with a $50 rebate. So I probably overpaid not going to a corporate store. However, I didn't care at that time. I wanted that phone! I bet I can still find my receipts. I keep everything.     On opening day? The on-contract price for the EVO was $349 back on June 4, 2010, with a $50 rebate. I know. I paid it. I also asked what the off-contract price was, and it wasn't only $100 more. I would have paid it. It was in the ballpark of $650. But I can't remember exactly. Robert

    $550 is a screaming deal. The original EVO was more than that when it first went for sale. Wasn't it like $649 on opening day? And then started coming down from there? $550 is tempting to buy off contract. Robert

    S4GRU announced the Kankakee cluster a long time ago. It has also been on our Network Vision maps for a long time too. However, one of the things that many people don't realize is the Kankakee cluster is east of the city of Kankakee straddling the Illinois/Indiana state line. It doesn't actually cover the city proper of Kankakee at all. Robert

    Waco is in Sprint's Austin market. Also, I have the dates now for all the sites in the first two rounds. Austin is indeed in the first round. The first sites in the Austin market (around Waco) are in a 4G LTE FIT. The main part of the rollout in the Austin market should start ramping up in April. Robert
