  1. This list from Sprint includes communities expected to have enough service to launch through December. Places that will launch in January or later are not on the list. We have projected that Northern Jersey would launch in January, so we were not surprised to not see it on the list. http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/212-network-visionlte-deployment-running-list/ Northern Jersey is in a separate market than New York City and they will not be launched together. Robert
  2. Greensboro is in the Sprint Winston-Salem market and will not begin deployment until some time in 2013. Robert
  3. Sprint is not selecting smaller cities over larger cities. Sprint is deploying over entire markets, not just cherry picking large cities like Verizon. However, since Verizon is advertising they have added service to every backwater town, Sprint has started announcing them too to compete on a PR basis. Robert
  4. El Paso and Cruces are in Sprint's Albuquerque market and will not begin until some time in 2013. The schedules for 3rd/4th Round markets have not been finalized yet. Robert

  6. The list from Sprint shows communities that will be deployed enough by December to launch service. Sprint must not feel San Diego will have enough service deployed by December to promote it. We will not be able to better refine out guesstimate of a San Diego launch until sites start completing in the market. Which hopefully will start in the next 30-45 days. 8. I have the GNex, EVO LTE, LG Viper and GS3. I like the GS3 best over all of them, but definitely over the GNex. I had so many signal issues/data connectivity issues with the GNex that I was going bonkers. However, the GS3 is a very solid radio performer. Robert
  9. We have received a couple of unverified reports that work is starting in the Minnesota market. It's possible that work is still progressing soon. However, the odds of you actually connecting to LTE in the next 30 days is very low. There are people in launched markets who do not even have LTE service yet. In the best case scenario, sites will start completing in the next 30-45 days. And the market launches some time after the new year. It is possible that some of the early completed sites may have LTE that is connectible in advance. But in many markets, LTE connections were blocked until market launch. There will not be much known about how/where in the Minnesota market until some sites start completing. Robert
  10. Welcome to S4GRU! If you change your device from the 25006 PRL, you may have problems getting LTE connection. This was something was recently discovered by one of our S4GRU PRL writers and I verified in my Waco testing recently. Additionally, we have in our Sponsor section interactive maps that show all Sprint sites, as well as all completed Network Vision/LTE sites in the country. Robert
  11. We have reported that Tucson will not begin deployment until some time this Winter. This report only discusses communities where they will have a usable amount of service completed before the end of the year. Robert
  12. I am not aware of any San Diego work that has started yet. Robert
  13. I am not surprised. We have always said that Milwaukee would not start until some time this Winter. Robert
  14. These are cities that will have fair LTE coverage throughout by the end of the year. The Missouri market will not begin deployment until this Winter. Robert
  15. There were actually more than one Press Release from Sprint today. I used the one that came in my email this morning. Robert
  16. That's a typo. It should be November 2013. Thanks for bringing that to my attention. The current production rate completion date is always variable depending on the current production rate. So you will always see this fluctuate. But not by that much! This date is figured this way: If Sprint subcontractors continued to complete sites at the rate it has for the past 2-4 weeks, how long would it take to complete the market? Since speed picked up a little in the LA Market, the date moved up to November 2013. If it slows down, the date will go further out. If it speeds up, then you will see this date move closer. Robert
  17. These are cities that Sprint feels will have a "launchable" amount of LTE coverage before the end of the year. Sprint said in their press release they will be completing LTE deployment nationwide by the end of 2013. Robert
  18. We are tracking Seattle in our NV/LTE Deployment Running List thread:http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/212-network-visionlte-deployment-running-list/ Robert, S4GRU.com
  19. You may want to look in Salina again. I think you may have picked it up and not realized it while driving down I-70. Those two new blurbs on I-70 there were not there last night. Robert
  20. The South Jersey market will not begin deployment until some time in 2013. We do not have any more details at this time. Robert, S4GRU.com
  21. There is no way to know for certain. You could have been connected to a different site than normal when performance was good this morning. They could have been testing something. It's possible that they have hooked up the new backhaul but not installed additional carriers yet. We just can't know for certain at this point. We just know that the area is actively still being worked on and just about anything can happen. Robert
