  1. I have been able to confirm with a source a 25th release date for the Note 2, and a 11/11 release date for the Optimus G. I don't know anything about preorder dates, yet. If there will even be any preorders for these devices. Robert via Nexus 7 using Forum Runner
  2. The way I look at it, my family gets to share unlimited for just a $30 additional device fee per month with Sprint. At VZW, they still pay a per device fee as well, and then get the privilege of sharing a pool of data. Robert via Nexus 7 using Forum Runner
  3. Sort of. LTE will be good to approximately -95dBm RSSI, which is 10dBm greater threshold than WiMax. So the signal is not stronger, but will be usable farther and have noticeably more coverage. Also, when you get a weak Clearwire LTE signal, you will almost always have the Sprint LTE network to fall back on. Robert via Nexus 7 using Forum Runner
  4. I get this when it will not authenticate with the Sprint network. It happens to me occasionally when switching back and forth between roaming and the Sprint network. Robert via Nexus 7 using Forum Runner

  6. I went to an all night laundromat to get quarters. Bad idea. Robert via Nexus 7 using Forum Runner

  8. I almost was killed in Hallandale...true story. I will not be going back any time soon. Robert via Nexus 7 using Forum Runner
  9. About 20-25% of Sprint stores are slated to get LTE repeaters. Robert
  10. LTE performance is very signal strength dependent. Although there can be a problem with a new site coming online, most of the time slower speeds indicate a weak signal. http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/2040-bars-lie-for-lte-signal-strength-how-to-determine-your-actual-lte-signal-strength/ Also, welcome. Thanks for your first post and becoming a S4GRU Sponsor. Robert
  11. Doesn't it make more sense to speed test using servers in Puerto Rico? Like the Bayamon server? Your results would be more accurate. Your download and upload speed really should be measured where your data hits the backbone to the internet. That is the most accurate result. If you are testing stateside, then in some ways you really are testing the backbone connection from Puerto Rico to the mainland, which can slow down at times, and not really be providing the results of the Sprint network. Robert
  12. Check out the first site in Maine. Go to the Alcatel Lucent map: http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/517-nv-sites-complete/ Robert
  13. I think the only reason Dallas is in the PRL is because of the Waco FIT sites having CDMA 800 deployed. Robert
  14. If you want to see all the Sprint sites in your area, become a Sponsor. All the Sprint sites in the U.S. are shown. http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/1195-information-about-s4gru-sponsorship-levels-and-how-to-become-a-sponsor/ Robert
  15. Official? Maybe. But it feels at least 2-3 weeks out to me. Robert via Nexus 7 using Forum Runner

  17. That question is too vague, and there are so many variables considering which technology, peak demands/what each user is doing, number of sectors/carriers deployed and amount of spectrum available to deploy. Robert via Nexus 7 using Forum Runner

  19. I have already waved my upgrade wand over you. Thanks for supporting S4GRU. Robert via Nexus 7 using Forum Runner
