  3. Just to remind everyone, Sponsorships are good for six months from your last donation date. You cannot be angry if you lose your sponsor privelleges after six months. This is something we communicate clearly in the Sponsor thread. Only Premier Sponsorships do not expire. Robert via Samsung Note 8.0 using Tapatalk Pro

  5. Sprint did lower its pricing via Framily. But you have to recruit customers to get the savings. Some people don't want to do that. Others are saving a huge amount of money. So it's up to the customer. Also, this is off topic for this thread. Robert via Samsung Note 8.0 using Tapatalk Pro
  6. Yeah, I didn't get Sascha's take. With tiered plans, VZW and ATT will not care. Only Unlimited plan providers would really care, in my mind. Robert via Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  7. I have never experienced this on any network except AT&T. I have seen a couple people post this anomaly before, but most people say they haven't had this problem. Robert via Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  8. Yes, they can. However, it better to acquire them with 50M new subscribers. Robert via Nexus 5 using Tapatalk

  12. Meets 40% outdoor coverage. It's the same threshold used throughout the country. For better or worse. Might as well make it official and let customers open tickets on the existing towers. Robert via Samsung Note 8.0 using Tapatalk Pro
  13. I love to disagree with JoeJoeJoe. Its one of my favorite pastimes. However, he's right in this instance. But it all really depends on what you're doing. Throughput matters more when you're downloading/transferring large files. Then latency (so long as it isn't insanely bad) is not as important. Who cares if a file that will take 10 minutes to download starts an extra second later? However, if it can be done in 5 minutes instead of 10, then that's a good thing. However, for most things done on a smartphone, it is small amounts of data sent and called for frequently. And for these things, lower latency is better. And higher latencies can really make it feel sluggish. Even if your throughput is 30Mbps. Ideally, latency under 80ms and throughput above 3Mbps and your smartphone feels fantastic for most things. And if you're used to a latency of 75ms and it doubles to 150ms...you're likely going to notice. Because everything you do online will take double the time for the internet to start responding to what you're doing. Robert via Samsung Note 8.0 using Tapatalk Pro

  15. Think Sprint DDC's too, not just MSC's. Robert
  16. The image size matters. Overly large images in a forum are obnoxious and cause lots of scrolling. I have a 19" laptop screen and one of your screen shots doesn't fit top to bottom. Too big! Robert
  17. It's all relative. SoftBank's emergence caused prices to drop significantly in Japan. He did bring competition, vastly improved his network quality and picked up huge amounts of subscribers. It is not surprising that prices are more expensive in Japan, as the cost of living is much higher. You perfectly understand what it's about. You're being negative because you don't want SoftBank to buy Tmo and you're cherry picking data to make a point. If SoftBank bought Tmo and prices lowered another $15/month on average, would you call it a failure because in some other country with a lower cost of living than the U.S. their prices may be even cheaper? Of course not. Because you will have watched the prices drop yourself. Just like they did in Japan. Robert via Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  18. Those are relatively high, but since the throughput is high, I would believe the issue could be at the Core. If the airlink was the cause, the throughput would be down lower too. Is this consistent across several speed test servers? Because I sometimes have this problem with this one server that I like to use most often for AT&T. It will be that way for a week or so, then go back to normal. But other servers will be fine. Robert via Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  19. No more of this stupid tangent. I will delete it all if it proceeds. The conversation has turned off topic and pointless. Robert via Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  20. No one around here complains about people using their data when they're mobile. It's when they use their network data when they could be offloading on WiFi...especially at home. We complain about people who use their unlimited mobile data to tether their 60" HD TV. And we also complain about people who abuse the network and brag about using 100GB off the network every month. But no one complains around here about the usage you just outlined. However, I do complain about people who cannot use basic punctuation and paragraphs. Mark me down as complaining about that. Robert
  21. Wow. I would expect someone who would type something so nonsensical to want to pay more for e-penis enlargement. I can't believe you said that publicly. Wow. Robert
  22. Yes, it is possible. With a Sprint SIM, I don't think it scans Band 4, if memory serves. But with an update from Google it could. Robert
  23. You made reference that Sprint goes around blaming more than Tmo. My point is that Sprint does not go around 'blaming' and it's not like it is something they do with customers. You reference a report of a SEC filing as an example. That is a technical explanation to a government body. Hardly an example of Sprint often blaming. More of an example of a tech page digging up a story and broadcasting it as blame. Robert
  24. Does Sprint play the blame game? Or are you confusing our explanations with Sprint actively blaming? Other than explaining the progress of Network Vision during investor updates, etc., I don't know if Sprint has a history of blaming. Robert
