Do we know the manufacturer and model for the sector antennas that Sprint is using?

I believe they vary. Not extremely, but I believe there are about 4-5 different models out there.

Makes sense. Okay, do we know what any of those 4 - 5 are?  :-p

I'm interested in their radiation patterns at different rated beamwidths.

I think powerwave might be one.

That is correct.

mhammett should know that we have several Network Vision vendor specific infrastructure ID threads.  I know we have them for at least Ericsson and Samsung.  Those threads contains lots of antenna pics.

Pics from the ground aren't likely to get manufacturer and model number.  ;-) I can't imagine many people here have tower access to get those pics themselves.

That would be incorrect. You need to look at the pics before you dismiss them.

Some of us at s4gru are pretty tenacious, and like to get the best shot when possible. Which is why I poured what little money I had into getting a decent camera. I may be new to the tech field but any one knows if you can get the model number, someone more knowledgeable can use it to help you finds it, and tell you what it does. Most of these are with my old camera, like a coolpix or something, and I still managed to get a few numbers.

Not sure if these will help in what you are looking for. But it is possible to get, just gotta find the best situation that presents itself, and take advantage of it. Here is a few that are pretty clear, some may need to be viewed in full res though. Hope it helps!  :)

he is correct I use my dslr with a 300 lens and I've got some pretty good shots. PM me and I'll share my Dropbox of sprint stuff. Somewhere in there I have some pdf files of some of the specs of the antennas used in utah. I think kmw and powerave?

Agreed. SLR every day. Actually, many of my pictures were taken using Canon A1.
