Apparently he is 'retiring' i.e. the board pointed out he has the reverse midas touch and if he doesn't get vamooshed asap he will be ejected unceremoniously. I shall celebrate with coffee and cake. Today is going well.

If I wasn't packing because of an eviction coming on Tuesday, I'd be celebrating! :D

Well considering how many shares he owns, today's news made him ~$800 million so I guess he shouldn't be too upset about it.

Agree. Congrats to any of you Microsoft shareholders. :P
