Think that's actually common. Not sure, not too much of a bluetooth user. Only use it in the car sometimes with the OBD2 plug in.

Of course, Sprint requires that you do a 2 year contract if you're going to add a tablet w/cellular access to your account, even if you pay full retail price for the device.

 

Good luck shooting yourself in the foot there, Sprint... You could be making more money off me if you'd let me activate the device on your network without a darn contract.

Although I'm not much appreciating your tone, I do agree that Sprint requiring a two year contract to provide service on a device you own outright is ridiculous. It was nice to be able to activate my Nexus 4 on Tmo with no contract. They need to come up with a better plan to add additional devices that someone purchases somewhere else.

AFAIK if you pay full retail you don't sign a contract... If you sign one, you get $100 off the MSRP. I can check on this tomorrow at work for you to be sure, but I'm pretty sure we've sold tablets off-contract before at our store.
