Sector ID's in the EVDO Engineering Screen

For those that have phones that have Sector ID's in the form of 32-character sizes, have you seen any letter ever shown above f? Because strangely enough, the Sector ID sure looks like an IPv6 address in terms of size and hexadecimal characters.

Its hex. It's the evdo subnet.

It's showing the cell identity value in hex 0-f. So far only the htc and iPhone show the cell identity value(iPhone shows it as a decimal value). Samsung phones show the physical cell ID which is a 9 bit value between 0 and 506. The iPhone actually shows both values.

My brain is starting to ache from all this networking talk. I'm taking my Network + class in preparation for my Network Pro Certification and my Network + Certification. I'm cramming a whole class into a week cause it's due on Friday. :(

So that might explain my confusion.

Thanks for the clarification digiblur.
