hi guys- just found this site after doing some online research regarding sprints upgrade. i'm looking to go from the nexus s 4g to galaxy 3 but i want to be sure i'll have better reception than i currently do with the nexus (horrible radio/ wifi) and trying to figure that out while sprint is undergoing these changes is difficult. while i don't understand a lot of the technical aspects here i'm trying and learning! thanks for the great information which i'm sure will help me make an educated decision!

I think you question would be better asked in the Devices/Samsung subform. This thread is regarding the Chicagoland Network Vision Upgrade

No, not at all. They couldn't be more different.

The GS III is on par with my Photon dbm, and antenna bar strength wise. Don't fear this device because it works as good as my photon in all situations including weak signal. The Photon is a bit better in weak reception areas where as the GS III is just as good!
