Galaxy siii dosen't support WiMax

Yes, the Galaxy S III doesn't have WiMAX. If you want a WiMAX device(assuming you live in a WiMAX area), I would recommend the Galaxy S II.

No device, outside of the tri-hotspot, supports both LTE and wimax.

 

I would rather have a phone that will eventually get LTE vs. what's available now with wimax.

Who told you that you would be getting Wimax on the SGS3? It sounds pretty ridiculous since Sprint has not released a Wimax device since oct 2011. For now you are stuck with 3G until the Colorado area gets built with LTE.
