VZW to launch LTE in McPherson, KS later this month

My apologies to our several central Kansas residents in the forum, but I cannot believe that VZW bothered to put out a press release for its LTE expansion into McPherson. Nevertheless, here it is:

I'm working in Mcpherson and see Verizons new antennas up while waiting on Sprint to get them up....

I grew up in Hutchinson, which is pretty close to McPherson. Alltel was huge (huge probably the wrong word for a small town) in that area. My whole family and most friends had Alltel and now Verizon. Maybe they're just throwing the old Alltel people a bone with some LTE so they don't feel as bad when their bills keep going up.
