  1. I also read that Verizon will be adding LTE to the AWS 1700 band. Either way I think sprint is taking the necessary steps to become competitive again. I'm eager for Evdo on 800mhz.
  2. Are complaints really occurring from Verizon customers? Hmm *finger pyramid of evil contemplation* lol
  3. Last one I had was about 2 weeks ago for my iPhone 5. It's on 55012 right now. Started from 31101 I think, then 55008, 55010, and now 55012.
  4. Age= experience Trust me. I didn't believe my dad when he said that, but a few years from now you'll see a change in perspective. At which point you'll reflect and ponder to yourself how you could've done or said a few things differently. Also don't deem yourself intelligent just because a few people have said it. Be humble, and show how smart you are by participating in purposeful conversations and absorb the knowledge contained within. Not by declaring it to fellow members. We live life forward but learn it backwards. No need to exhaust anymore energy. WiWavelength isn't trying to offend, merely sharing some wisdom. Now then, I've been wondering if Sprint installs increased capacity on towers in very densely populated areas such as main roads and shopping centers. I have experienced higher speeds in such areas.
  5. Pretty good analogy. I did a speed test as I passed Fordham Rd on the 4 train and got 18 down. Everywhere else lately I've been getting about 4-8 down but on the bright side, LTE has been more spread out, more consistent and handoff from tower to tower appears almost non-existent. So that's an A in my book.
  6. Atlanta, Georgia is a city too bro. Maybe he's in an area with few sprint users and/or near the tower with direct line of signal. As for the 5x5 MHz I believe that's how wide the channels are to allow bandwidth. So technically there's not enough space for more than 37mbps to travel through. Correct me if I'm wrong on any of this guys.
  7. I second this. No way 20- 30 will be average. I'll be good with 5-10.
  8. Yea I think they're working on the tower closest to me because I've only been connecting to this distant LTE tower (most likely the LTE tower I previously posted about). Hence the weak signal where I usually get 3-4.5 solid bars in my apartment.
  9. Oh Jesus! Noticed I had like 2 bars so I randomly did a speed test and got this: For decibel reading:
  10. Yea but its the first LTE signal I've gotten in my apartment for a while at -120db. Upload didn't do anything but hey it's a sign that its getting closer.
  11. I'm happy. This is one block away from my home. Lte from my apartment.
  12. Rode the 4 train this morning and LTE speeds were good and almost entirely consistant between 161st and Moshulu parkway. Also handoff from tower to tower wasn't really noticeable so that's good. Maybe crews are finished fine-tuning those towers.
  13. Hmm those pings seem a bit high. I usually get < 100. Very fast speeds nonetheless.
  14. Yes sir. Since day 1 :-) And yea running a bunch of speed tests uses up a bunch of data. I only do 2-3 at a specific time and with LTE it usually sucks up about 30-40 megabytes. Fortunately for my fellow sprint users, I'm not very data hungry. Just some web browsing and social networking here and there.
  15. Me too. :/ Anywho I'm actually curious to see how NV 3G works and do a speed test on it.
  16. What a major tease. Left my phone in my room just now to come back and see I have one bar of LTE (checked it at -120 db). Before I can run a speed test it disappears. I managed to load this website and refresh Instagram and it did both fairly quick. Like good 3G speed kind of quick.
  17. You must constantly be in areas of LTE. Lucky you lol.
  18. Oh, my mistake. I wouldn't mind being 100% with no LTE. A little boost in 3G can go a long way.
