  1. My LTE setting has been turned off for a while. I don't even really look for it anymore. I use 3G to save some battery and sometimes turn data off when I know I'm not using it.
  2. Those speeds are okay for browsing actually. I'm getting pings of 200+ and .15 Mbps. Hopefully a large amount of capacity is installed in the area.
  3. LTE isn't functional inside Yankee stadium. Had 3 bars but no actual Internet connection.
  4. Signal is very good on 86th st and Lexington.
  5. Of course. The signal from your phone to the Internet and back is really fast at 50 ms. I think it's pretty snappy when I used to get 400-500 Kbps with 60-100 ms ping. I can't imagine a consistent 1 Mbps with low pings but I'm betting that after NV the average will be higher than that.
  6. Is it because they will be able to deploy in 20x20 MHz configuration I believe? What's the theoretical throughput of a network like that on 2600 MHz frequency? I know that it'll have an insane amount of capacity for connections.
  7. To be quite honest, I'm more looking forward to the upgraded 3G and since 3 out of the 4 are ready for it then I hope the last landlord finally lets it go through!
  8. My pain, my suffering lol. How could these sites be overlooked? Not saying this because I live in the area but because everyone knews baseball season was coming. I hope citi field is covered. Hey at least my texts go through.
  9. Just tried the same server one more time and the next 3 closest ones. Consistently got 430+ pings so I don't thing it's the servers. Edit: tried the servers again and I'm back in the 1100+ range.
  10. Wow my pings around my home are landing around 1200+ this evening. Usually it's in the 60-110 and there's no Yankee game here? Hmm, something's fishy.
  11. Maybe people want to be able to host whole servers from their devices. Lol
  12. 10-15 Mbps is great. My home network is 15 down and 2 up (my speeds are a bit higher than advertised as sometimes I get 18 down and 2.3 up. :-] ). With my home network I can do anything from stream HD movies and play video games without lag whatsoever. So to have a connection similar to the one in my home on my phone practically all over the city... Sounds excessive but I won't complain.
  13. You're not the only one but the problem isn't major. Just try refreshing the page later like I do. Yes, we know legacy sites are slow.
  14. Signal in general in the west Bronx has been blah.
  15. It better not interfere with our NV upgrades. Lol
  16. No 3G option? What do you mean? This is my phone by the way. I can also turn LTE off so only 3G can be used. There are no differences in the settings between iPhone 5's.
  17. I see no "3G." Also by all iPhones I meant to say from the iPhone 4 and up (4, 4S, 5).
  18. It's not at one point in time. They're HSPA+21 is just branded as 4G on all iPhones since firmware 5.1 I believe. LTE is LTE without a doubt. So in order an AT&T iPhone will read "LTE, 4G, and then Edge."
  19. Easy way to differentiate the two different generations of iPhones: 4/4S has the ambient light sensor above the speaker in a "bar" form with front facing camera on the left. iPhone 5 has the ambient light sensor to the left of the speaker (where the camera should be on the 4/4S) and the camera right above the speaker. Easier way of looking at what the speaker has around it. 1. Either a dot to the left and a black little bar above the speaker = 4/4S 2. Speaker with black dot to the left and right above speaker = 5. Also there is a gap between the flash and camera lense on the 5 because of the rearward facing microphone. There is no gap on the 4/4S (if the back of the phone was facing you.) Seeing as you could clearly see the "4G" symbol, you'll easily be able to pick up the other details as to which cellular device it is. Oh yea and idk about AT&T coverage I'm queens.
  20. Btw this is all the info I get from the LTE tower.
  21. It's called Signal 2. Your iPhone must be jailbroken.
  22. The engineering screen from this app gives me different PN offsets for different towers (135, 480, 81).
