    This is the way I see it. Granted, I'm no expert.

    1) Democrats at the federal and state levels are worried about low income customers getting priced out of the market. Maybe a guarantee of low priced plans with minimal data allotments would help.

    2) Democrats and Republicans alike at the federal and state levels along with members of the DOJ are likely getting heavily lobbied by Verizon and AT&T. Frankly, I'd be scared shitless if I were them.

    I just got my MB Gold! Curious what the latest firmware that it should be running?
    I'm asking since I keep getting errors connecting the backhaul to my Google WiFi router.
    I was also wondering about latest firmware. Anywhere online that it would be listed?

    Took yesterday's Android update on my Pixel 2. This appears to now be working again.

    That's the one where it connects to an open network and uses the Google VPN? That stopped working months ago for me on the Pixel 3 XL

    Yeah, that's the one. It stopped working a few months ago for me, too. I went so far as to start a chat session with Google. Got far enough that they wanted me to factory reset my device. I said I didn't need it that bad ... and that was that.

    I haven't been blocked for a long time now. Seems that problem is fixed.

    But it takes foreeeeeverrrrr for Tapatalk to update it's cache from S4GRU when launching the app and opening the site. Anyone else see this?

    ... I can help get it going a bit faster if I force close the app and clear it's cache before launching.

    I've tried a lot of things, myself. But this one hadn't occurred to me. I performed the activation and prl update that the cs rep asked me to do last night. However, I won't have a chance to roam again for a while.

    Let me know if one of you guys gets a chance to try this out.

    I'm on a really rural project right now and US Cellular roaming has been fantastic on my unlocked Note 9. I save my heavier data usage for when I'm back at the hotel, which is in Sprint territory.

    Well ... I'm on an unlocked Pixel 2. Have had problems since the Android 9 update. My wife on an iPhone X has no trouble.

    Can’t get notifications though. I also like tapatalk. 
    I use Tapatalk but am on Android. The only trouble I've been having (for months) is that some of the tabs in the app take FOREVER to refresh upon first opening the app.

    The October patch for (Pie) has been pushed out today. Please post if you are able to successfully roam after you run the patch on your Pixel 2 and 2 XL.
    There is also a "Carrier Services" app update available in the Play Store.

    Not sure if it's possible that a fix could be in there.

    They also had me update profile / prl / reboot ... but I'd already done that. I'm gonna bet this roaming turn-it-off-and-back-on-again thing actually works.

    I went to Hermann, MO, this weekend and still had problems. I guess it shouldn't come as a surprise.
