  1. I actually know a guy that lives on Alameda. I'll see if I can get him to figure out which site is broadcasting b26 Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  2. No, my friend didn't have signal check on his phone. Was looking at the engineering screen and it listed Secondary 800 as the band. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  3. No, doesn't seem like eCSFB is on right now.
  4. One last report before I go to bed. I was getting some dinner in the mission at Valencia and 15th and was also getting NID231. Hope the next acceptance report shows the whole cluster launching. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  5. Just had a friend come over to my office near 16th st and Bryant. Not only is he on NID 231 but on 1x800 too!
  6. Got another friend of mine on 17th st and Arkansas st to send me a screenshot. NID 231 too!
  7. A friend of mine just sent me a screenshot from his phone on NID 231 near Broadway and Front. Maybe the whole cluster launched finally?
  8. Thanks for sharing that. Blows my mind that a single county can block an entire state, and it's neighbor, from deploying LTE on SMR.
  9. What is the service like on the strip these days? I'm going to be visiting for a conference in august. Wondering if I should renew my T-Mobile service or switch back to sprint. I probably won't be spending much time outside of the strip while I'm there. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  10. That's actually a very interesting setup. I had to get some help in the lounge from lilotimz and the guys to help figure it out. Looks like they hooked up the legacy PCS transmitters to the new antenna. The RRU is only partially hooked up. Looks like everything is ready and they would just hot swap the coax lines to hook up the antenna when they're ready to cluster launch.
  11. Looks like a full build site near the Embarcadero towers. Can you upload the full res image to imgur or google drive or something? Tapatalk is re-sizing it down.
  12. Nobody really has a good answer to that question. Sounds like sprint dropped the ball since they had most of the permits issued by 2012. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  13. This is great! New site in the golden gate park on top of the California Academy of Sciences too. Great to see some progress. I'll post an updated permit map in the sponsors forum when I get off work.
  14. Thanks! Permitting isn't the issue in San Francisco. They finished the permits for 94 of the 117 sites in San Francisco in 2012. Since Jan 1 2013, there have been only 16 permit applications from Sprint for NV 1.0. Many of the sites that have permits issued have not ever been worked on. I wish I knew what the holdup was. The lack of progress drove me to T-Mobile for the time being. If you look on Sprint forums, they will tell you 3 months, but they've been saying that since 2013.
  15. Oh cool! Thanks for that number. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk

  17. I just checked some reference, according to this site: http://specmap.sequence-omega.net/ Sprint's market ownership in San Francisco Bay market for SMR is 818-824MHz, 863-869MHz. That's only a 6x6MHz block of spectrum. The system San Francisco is using is a Motorola Type II SmartZone, Analog and APCO-25 Common Air Interface running on 851-857MHz. Looks like it doesn't overlap Sprint's license, but only gives them the ability to deploy a 3x3MHz LTE config in addition to a 1x800MHz channel.
  18. Ffffffffuuuuuu. Probably not 1x800 but LTE800 probably. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  19. That's great! Did you do anything special or did it happen on it's own? Sent from my TouchPad using Tapatalk
  20. They probably won't be able to do this on sites you visit over HTTPS. Next time you see this, try going to the same page with HTTPS in the url instead.
  21. Telcel in Mexico has a prepaid program called Amigo card. You can buy a sim card at most telcel dealers, and the top-up cards for minutes and data at almost any grocery store or pharmacy.
  22. (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻ I actually can't believe it.
  23. I think your math is a little off. 30Mbps/100Users = 30/100 = 0.3Mbps per user. 1000 users is 0.03Mbps.
  24. I should rephrase, the section of I5 between Tracy and socal is mostly GMO. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
