  1. Well said. Here in Athens there are at least 4 towers. Guess which (1) tower they upgraded? The one closest to the interstate about a month ago. Nothing has been touched since. But I will be grateful when they are all complete. I at least have LTE at work now and I can actually go all day with the stock battery in my S3. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
  2. I agree with the snails pace in this area but I don't think I could ever go back to a company as greedy as big red. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
  3. Crossville and Rockwood should have LTE up and running Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
  4. That would be the fastest install we have heard of in these forums. It's usually months from delivery of equipment to acceptance Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
  5. Has anyone even seen the first Ericsson site turn on 800 cdma yet? Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
  6. There are no SIDs used, only mcc mnc for the US. You can see the site identity using the LTE engineering screens. Look at my signature for more info. I looked at the engineering screen but had no clue what any of it meant. Thanks for the info Right now I have 310 - 120 Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
  7. A little off topic, my apology in advance but is there a way to see the sid for LTE? My GS3 only shows the 1X sid regardless of where my LTE signal comes from. I use cdma field test to see the info. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
  8. You can add Athens Tennessee. Sensorly proves it Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
  9. The Athens area was lit up today except for downtown. Now I75 is covered pretty well all the way to Chattanooga from Athens
  10. Uverse is not fiber to your home. It terminates with copper. Backhaul is fiber to the rru I believe. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
  11. There are plenty of fiber backhaul providers even in the rural areas of east Tennessee. But more than likely AT&T has fiber running to the tower. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
  12. Bloomington is in the Indianapolis market. That's why it is being worked on. The entire Indy market is being worked on. The fact that it is a college town is irrelevant. In fact, it was the last city of size in the Indy market to get Sprint LTE. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD I read a lot of moaning from people in Ohio about how slow progress has been there but Southern Indiana especially Southwest Indiana including the Evansville metro area has still not seen any activity Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
  13. SID's stayed the same here. But sometimes instead of just seeing a 1, 2, or 3 as the last number by sector I see a 7, 8, or 9 Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
  14. From what I've seen down here in my area sometimes they are only turning on one sector of the tower. So if your on a side of the tower that hasn't been turned on you might lock on if your close enough. They are still turning them off and on down here.
  15. Not really deceiving. That's what the lightest areas mean. A very weak signal, that may or may not be available depending on your device and your location. Robert If you look at the map he posted he lives in a spot that's in between the light areas. I was just saying even if he was in that light area he wouldn't be able to use it indoors. I'm sure the coverage in that area will improve over time as they complete more towers. And unless you read about the sensorly maps in these forums you would probably assume the light areas are useable. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
  16. That map is deceiving. Those light areas of purple usually aren't very usable on 4G
  17. I remember when my girlfriend first got her iPhone 5 it would not connect to the airave but she just googled that problem and found out it is very common on the iphones but I'm pretty sure all she did after that was a prl update and never had an issue since. We only use wifi at home though as far as data connection's Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
  18. I have the Airave 2.5 with several Samsung GS3's in the house and an iphone 5 with no issues Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
  19. I was just on I40 going west past Campbell Station Rd and had 4G dropped out by the time I got to the weigh station though Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
  20. Nashville has the most 4G LTE in the whole state so far. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
  21. Mine does the same thing. I even have to reboot to ehrpd sometimes Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
  22. Updated the map today. Here's some of the notable updates. Moved up to Pre-Launch status: * Athens, TN * Daytona Beach, FL * Lawton, OK * Lumberton, NC * Milford, CT * Morganton, NC * Norwalk, CT * Pinehurst, NC * Sevierville, TN * Southern Pines, NC * Wayne, NJ LTE now available: * Denver, Colorado! * Alice, TX * Laredo, TX * Aberdeen, WA * Madison, WI Athens, TN finally, but still nothing lit up yet. Riceville had a sector on it's tower lit up for a couple weeks but Riceville and Calhoun were both down last night. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
  23. The Chattanooga coverage hasnt changed much in over a month. Looks like the crews have spread out over the entire East TN area. I do notice most towers in this area around Athens have had new panels up for a couple months. Every few weeks they turn 1 on or at least a sector or 2 on. I assume for testing.
