  1. They can be used for whatever the carrier wants. Texas is #10 in wireless taxes . New Mexico is #21 Check out http://www.mywireless.org/state-issues/state-tax-rankings/.
  2. Is this what you wanted? Federal-Univ Serv Assess Non-LD $0.67 State-State Cost Recovery Fee $0.21 Texas State-Univ Serv Assessment $0.50 Administrative Charge $1.50 Regulatory Charge $0.40 Texas State-911 Tax $0.50 Texas State-Sales Tax $1.43 Fort Worth City-District Tax $0.12 Fort Worth City-Sales Tax $0.22
  3. If that's the case, anecdotal posts will not prove anything. How about you get some bills from your friends with the major carriers in the same taxing locale and compare them? That would be provide you with a much more accurate answer.
  4. Again, why? I don't mean to put down your threads, but what is the purpose of this one? Taxes vary greatly from city to city. Why is posting them useful?
  5. Only until Sprint becomes successful.
  6. Well, that did not work. Try this: http://www.reddit.com/r/Android/comments/r0vjb/sprint_galaxy_nexus_to_launch_april_15th/
  7. Here is the link that is driving your Reddit traffic... and no, it wasn't me. lol http://reddit.com/tb/r0vjb Be careful with Reddit. Very addictive.
  8. I am not sure I see the point of posting anecdotal outages. You could draw no reliable conclusions from such observations.
  9. AFAIK, that's correct. Roughly it is $30 for feature phones, $40 for smartphones, and $50 for 4G phones and iPhones. But I could be wrong. I don't sell phones... I just support the network side.
  10. Remember, this is for targeted customers only. You cannot call in for this. Make sure your email address is correct on Sprint.com. Also, if you are on a discounted plan like SERO, I would be very surprised if you get the offer. This will most likely be for those that provide a substantial revenue stream to Sprint.
  11. I am still trying to come to terms with my EVO 4G being "outdated".
  12. From FierceMobileContent Looks like a personal injury attorney in Austin, TX is filing a class action suit in response to revelations that developers were able to mine data on customer devices.
  13. Dragos sounds like an idiot if he thinks Sprint's plans are complicated.
  14. No way. Boards don't oversee at that level. They are basically reflecting the concern that Hesse is making some serious commitments that may not be in the interests of shareholders. The stock has lost 90 percent t over the last five years and the company is still bleeding. I am sure investors just want Hesse to be reigned in on mergers/acquisitions and the like. They aren't concerned about price plans.
  15. From what I hear it is an authentication issue. Sprint will most likely use MAC addresses and not SIMs like Verizon does.
  16. I also posted this in the News forum. http://s4gru.com/ind...__fromsearch__1 Sorry. Did not see this one first.
  17. I get unlimited 3G/4G for 20, but I would have to go with a Cradlepoint and external antenna setup. Not sure it is worth it for home use over my $35 DSL.
  18. Very good article. Thanks for posting.
  19. Well, 21% are. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Church_attendance&mobileaction=view_normal_site#Participation_statistics

Tampa has been having lots of issues with capacity in the last couple of weeks or so. Seems like I get a notice of high block rates regularly.
  21. Weak signal due to rain, but good throughput due to people being in church.
  22. Send me a PM. I don't always see these threads. I will check tomorrow if you send me the address in a PM.
