  1. HAHA I just want to help find some B41 in OC and have a Nexus phone to match my Nexus 7(2012) and 10.
  2. Maybe the 2 day shipping sped it up. I picked standard. I called Google and explained that I ordered the same model before some friends and they already got their's shipped while mine didn't and asked if there are any holds for whatever reason. They said no and ensured it will ship by the 26th. I am assuming nothing is being told at a customer service level and it is all at the shipping/receiving end of everything. Oh well, I just have to wait. Damn Thanksgiving, even though I love Thanksgiving food it is going to prolong the shipping!
  3. I am waiting for my N5 order from google to test, but it is looking like the N5's aren't connecting to B41 yet for some reason after the settings have been changed. EDIT: Some peple in the LA market have connected to B41.
  4. Dang! You passed me. My black 32 was ordered on the 5th and still says 26th... Google hates me haha.
  5. For me personally Wimax was in the areas I was usually at. However, there were a lot of wholes and in building was aweful being on jusr 2600. My max download speed I got at home was 11megs on wimax.
  6. What do you mean ibez issues? How do you know if you are in an ibez area?
  7. Hence it being priceless! haha I am still waiting for mine also 11/26. Two days before Thanksgiving which tells me I won't see it until the following Monday at the earliest...
  8. I think another indication it won't have the Spark icon is the current nexus LTE is above the bars where as other devices have the 4G with up and down arrows separately from the bars. Just saying.
  9. Except where it counts. No Verizon =P haha jk, it would be impressive if it supposed them also. They could call it "The first Major US Phone - For All Major US Carriers" No, just make sure when you activate it you say "I want to swap phones on my line." Someone mentioned they got a fee before. I just went from my HTC One to my EVO LTE and then back to the One, no charges.
  10. I know some have gotten signal in LA markets. I expect to connect to B41 in OC, but I am waiting for my N5 order. I wouldn't expect coverage to be as wide spread as what listed on the Sprint coverage maps. Gotta remember NV is in progress and it is B41. In the G2 thread someone posted getting around 50-60 megs
  11. Not to mention Apple users tend to think they are "techy" when the reality most of us haven't even touched the surface.
  12. You know apple won't change anything to show any differences. Sprint will do anything and everything for Apple.
  13. Oh for sure! I would have to. Sprint should use the similar review method like amazon's. I did not know that. I thought texts were along the same lines and Volte.
  14. We understand the sms part. Since the Nexus 5 has a single antenna, it is connected to LTE by default and when you get call/sms the device drops its data connection and goes to 1x. One the call/sms is complete it goes back to data. I believe either Robert or AJ mentioned earlier in this thread, all this happens nearly instantly. I would assume when going back to data it has to search and connect all over again. I know it is along these lives, if anyone knows otherwise please fill in the gaps I left out.
  15. Every time I think about "Spark" I can't help but remember the episode of How I Met Your Mother with Robin Sparkles.
  16. Dang that Spark star is here to stay. I thought it would be default and change to the Spark star when connected to B41. I wonder what changes if any there will be to indicate that you are connected to B41.
  17. Maybe I missed it. Does Spark mean it is using B41? Or B41 and B25? Or just any combination of the two? Or two carriers of B41?
  18. I am hoping that Nexus 5's purchased through Google Play don't get that icon, hopefully it is only Sprint branded devices and none of the nexus 5's since the updates will be coming from Google.
  19. Have any of you seen the ONE review for the Nexus 5 on Sprint.com? The person gave it a 3 out of 5. 2 people found the review helpful while 29 found it unhelpful haha. The reviewer and 2 others don't know about S4GRU and the issues regarding tri-band while the other 29 are either programmers or S4GRU members!
  20. The Sprint site is showing all of OC/LA covered in Spark. I highly doubt that considering WiMax was never fully deployed resulting in several holes and it is B41.
