  1. That makes sense... Out of curiosity, how the heck do they get that equipment up to the racks anyway? Simple as hoisting it up? I'm assuming those antenna panels and RRHs aren't very light!
  2. Good catch - bottom rack is Sprint being actively worked on. You can see the RRHs very easy there. Top rack is Clearwire - interesting they had a cable attached to it as well.. Maybe doing something to it at the same time?
  3. If I remember correctly, top of the tower was Clearwire and bottom rack was Sprint. I can check it out Monday if no one else can, or if you can sneak some pictures.
  4. I paid $10 for premium data! I paid for this WiMax device for years but never got service! Sprint sucks! Sorry - just doing my impersonation of the Sprint forums.
  5. We know of an active LTE site north on Sawmill but we didn't have all the serving cells yet. Thanks
  6. thats why its a Slickdeal - you snooze, you lose! I bet mine will cancel anyway.. If it doesn't, anyone want a free battery?
  7. Sprint.com has their Samsung Galaxy Nexus Extended 2100mAh Lithium Ion Battery & Battery Door for Free when you apply promo code BATTERY1 (apply at checkout). Shipping is free. I'm sure this will cancel, but it lets you check out for free with free shipping on this battery. No strings attached. http://shop.sprint.com/mysprint/shop/accessory/ao_landingPage.jsp?deviceId=SPHL700KIT&categoryRefName=Chargers%2b%2526%2bBatteries&selectedAccessoryID=BXS3780Q
  8. You'll go to your grave arguing Panel vs Antenna, won't you
  9. Really a great time for you non-sponsors to throw some money to the S4GRU family! We have a great group of people in the Columbus market providing a tremendous amount of information our way accessible to sponsors.
  10. I have a NETGEAR N600 RANGEMAX DB N ROUTER.. Dual-band. Works pretty well for me so far. Got a slickdeal on it last year.. Sometimes randomly the 5GHZ port isn't very reliable and it's not gigabit ethernet- but for the price, it is decent.
  11. I suppose I shouldn't have said wifi only in thread topic as I counted quite a few on my wired network as well. So how many total on network then?
  12. For the fun of it, count how many devices you have in your house connected to wifi/home network? I counted 12 my house (counting cell phones of course). Btw totally cool use of my old Evo was converting it to a security cam with web server in my garage. Have IPcamera app on my current phone to monitor it - use it all the time to answer 'did I close the garage?' Edit - 8 connected to wifi, 4 on Ethernet.
  13. AJ - just out of total curiosity, do you have any pictures of an omnidirectional site for CDMA that you are speaking of? Never seen one myself. I'm assuming they are rare?
  14. I had three of those no ring/voicemail calls today. Pretty annoying. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
  15. Or, for most people, as long as it works - who cares how. Hey! How exactly is a rainbow made? How exactly does a sun set? How exactly does a posi-trac rear-end on a Plymouth work? It just does. I tried to pull an AJ and imbed a Youtube video and failed miserably. So here's a link instead: http://www.youtube.com/embed/uCM1seqnAuY
  16. I had the same problem. Good ol' fashioned reboot fixed it for me too.
  17. Looks like you can buy the Mifi 500 off-contract for $250 from LetsTalk http://www.letstalk.com/cell-phones/productdetail.htm?prId=42048
  18. I saw one of the AT&T variants of these phones couple weeks ago for the first time. Holy hell it's a big SOB. Go triband!
  19. 50,000 foot view - looks like they are hitting the I71 corridor pretty hard.
