  1. I was on Roberts then 270 S yesterday for lunch and Sensorly didn't pick up LTE. I work near Roberts and haven't seen a signal either. I wonder if they were testing a tower and that's why it briefly showed on his phone. Who knows at this point I was driving around Dublin today near 161 and saw a lot of towers upgraded. I think it's only a matter of time guys before it really lights up.
  2. My phone showed 4g in place of the 3g but by the time I noticed and tried to access anything tgat required data my phone just hung then south of roberts on 270 4g went away 3g came back on Strange.
  3. Why would you report in the previous post you had LTE on west side then write one right after saying Morse is the only site? Are you confused sir?
  4. I HAD to drive up to Morse Rd area this afternoon to test the LTE. Way out of my way but totally worth it. Only had a few minutes to play around with but followed Digiblur's advise and took a screen shot of the Field Test. Wasn't able to get all three vectors but this is what I found: Physical Cell ID: 203 Cell Identity: 140556802 This was from an iPhone 5. Let's all compare what Cell ID# we see over the next few days and confirm that it's just one tower (which is likely is).
  5. Either that or the confirmed tower has one hell of a reach. Digiblur said he's seen towers go 10 miles. I suppose with no hills in Columbus that's very possible?
  6. Thanks for the heads up! Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 4 Beta That's pretty far from the accepted site. I wonder if we have another site on our hands?
  7. Hey I believe you. Thanks for the report.
  8. Take it for what it's worth - I searched Twitter for 'LTE columbus' and a few random people were talking about it.
  9. Darn. Keep us updated if you ever go by there again.
  10. Lol. Sometimes I wish I took the blue ignorance pill too. But then without S4GRU forums, what would I do at work? Work? No thanks. My two cents as well - I've seen quite a few sites with fiber. Now, who knows what stage that is. Whether its just the fiber to the street waiting for street to actual backbone or not. I think the rollout seems to be moving along just fine. Of course we all wish it was simple and faster but there's a lot of moving parts to this that I'm sure we don't even all understand.
  11. No kidding. Those sites east of town accepted was just a tease.
  12. Cool - What do you mean by NV site? A site that looks upgraded to you?
  13. Ill have to double check but to my knowledge there has been zero ethernet run to any of the columbus sites. The difference is roughly 30 sites will have a microwave backhaul and not a direct connection. There is a good image in a thread on backhaul that shows conduit run to the cabinents marked fiber, and conduit coming from the ground with a pull string just waiting for the fiber to come and be pulled thru. We have seen multiple sites in Columbus with the fiber ran to the tower. Now, whether or not it's actually connected is another story completely.
  14. The tower on 104 is the one that I'm on at home. Can anyone tell by looking at his Dropbox photos if those two smaller cabinets are the new ones for NV? I'm hoping so cause service sucks over here. Yes, the left two cabinets are the new Samsung cabinets.
  15. I'm apparently blind... Where are you seeing the accepted sites? I was checking the NV Sites completed website and don't see anything for Ohio. Thank you in advance. It was just posted in one of the Cleveland threads. that's the market Sandusky is in.
  16. Did you guys see Sandusky had 13 accepted 3G sites? First things accepted in Ohio.
  17. Did you guys ever notice Columbus OH is not even listed on the drop down list on the network.sprint.com 'what's happening in your neighborhood' list? At least we know the market is being worked on. Just nothing completed and accepted yet.
  18. Saw some guys working on the site out off Alton Darby creek road (hilliard). They were wiring up fiber from the street to the tower. Some guys were inside the fenced area. Didn't spot new panels but couldn't get a good look for the cabinets. Sprint only site.
  19. Your advice failed us! Any update from your source?
  20. I know. I keep thinking we are so close yet so far away. Hey that's a song! I went to the Memorial tournament this weekend. Data was useless. At least I had free beer to keep me happy.
  21. You are fine. Robert and the mods have said you can quote site ids as long as you cite the source as the actual tower. No need to get worked up fellas.
  22. Cool. Looked up the permit for this tower and the only carrier that pulled a permit was Sprint! Looks like permit was issued Feb 5
  23. Fair enough but your first post here said Columbus isn't getting LTE until 2014. Just making sure we aren't getting bad information..
  24. Can we ask at least the general nature of this source you keep quoting?
  25. I believe what you are looking for is called load balancing. Solutions do exist (software & hardware) but typically not very cheap. Not sure how much you want to spend. Google "load balancing DSL" and you'll get a bunch of different options.
